  • Prefer this to Urban Decay All-Nighter and it's 1/4 the price!
I've got oily skin and really need a good setting spray to keep my makeup looking nice (or even on my face) for a full work day. I've tried many of them in all price ranges and find this one to be very effective and at a very good price. It works at least as well as Urban Decay All-Nighter, but the UD is $32 and this one is $8! If you liked the L'Oreal Infallible Setting Spray, this is the exact same spray, just in a slightly different bottle and under the Maybelline brand name. L'Oreal owns both brands, so it's not surprising that they would offer the same formula in both. The bottles for both are good and the sprayers are excellent, creating a fine mist rather than the splotchy sort of spray that you get from some drugstore options. ... show more

  • Price and Quality on Point
Love this spray! The mist is fine enough that you don't risk ruining a powder set, but heavy enough to really do the job and complete your makeup for the day. I don't find that my skin is irritated after using it and the smell is pleasant. For the price it can't be beat. You won't regret using this product vs something more costly at Sephora and that is coming from someone who loves and frequests Sephora often. Great product, effective and low cost. ... show more

  • So I'd recommend Urban decay or skindinavia with oil control if you ...
This setting makeup spray is comparable to L'Oréal's. It is a drugstore alternative and does the job. I've used setting makeup spray for 8 years and this step is key to help your makeup to stay all day. In extreme conditions (heat) it will last less than in cold weather, because makeup doesn't melt!. I've read many reviews stating that it doesn't control oil, and it could be true, however that is not the purpose of a setting spray unless it has an added ingredient that claims specifically to oil control. For example, Urban decay has 3 setting makeup sprays: all nighter, to extend your makeup wear, oil slick to extend makeup with oil control, and chill to moisturize and setting. So I'd recommend Urban decay or skindinavia with oil control if you are extremely oily. In my opinion this product does the job. My only complaint would be the scent, I don't like it, that's why I added just 4 stars. As a drugstore option, I prefer L'Oréal. ... show more

  • Where Has This Been All My Life???
I want to rate this as a 7. This is absolutely my favorite make-up accessory. I LOVE my eyeliners and shadows, and all the rest. But when we moved to the South, which I love, well - this is a beautiful place, and my make up, in the insane humidity, my make-up kind of slowly deteriorated, and slid off. (The humidity is evil. It's really unkind to mature skin.) This is something I had NEVER experienced. I stumbled across this product here on Amazon, read what it's supposed to do, read the reviews, and bought it. Now I can do my face, spritz it with this amazing product - I will NEVER run out. I will make sure of it. And this Maybelline Facestudio Master Fix Wear-Boosting Setting Spray is amazing. What's the point of taking the time to enhance your face with make-up, looking your best, only to have it smudge, smear or just look less than you were working for. Spritz, spritz, a couple of seconds to dry, and you're good for the day, even if it rains. (It came through for me when my parents passed several years ago. I cried, dabbed with a tissue, and it came back without my liner or mascara on it. I REALLY recommend it.) ... show more

  • Fantastic
I had never used makeup setting spray before and was nervous and skeptical. However, this was so easy to use and held my makeup all night long. You can’t feel it on your face at all which is great. And it’s super affordable. Will buy again!

  • Not the worst, but for $10...
This setting spray is not the worst I have ever tried. It has both pros and cons: Pros: - Good packaging, sturdy and easy to travel with - Product comes out as a fine mist, easy to apply evenly and you don't feel like your drenching your face - Mild smell. It smells like setting spray, but it is not nearly as pungent as other settings sprays on the market - Good for light to moderate makeup wearers, - If you have severely dry skin, it does not make makeup cling onto dry patches, depending on your technique of application, but I would not define it as moisturizing Cons: - It comes with a relatively decent amount - While it does pro-long the wear of your makeup, it does not keep it in place nor prevent fading. After a good 5 hours, your makeup does start to fade - It does cost a little much for a drug store setting spray, while it does come with a decent amount I would rather spend an extra $10 for a setting spray that pro-longs my makeup for longer ... show more

  • The best makeup setter. Period.
I have acne-prone skin and was always so annoyed how it seemed my makeup never lasted as long as it claimed and so I have tried every makeup setter from the super expensive brands to the drugstore brands and this one is ABSOLUTELY the best.

  • Maybelline NY Facestudio Master Fix Makeup Setting Spray
I have been trying to up my makeup game these past few months. I am still in the area of trial and error. A LOT of error. :( Hahaha. But still I hear of makeup setting spray and powders. I have both - the powder also by Maybelline and the spray. I do like it that it is a nice cool spritz of mist that helps keep my makeup from feathering and running. It isn't the high end brand that costs oh say $50 for a small bottle! It does the trick for under $8.00. I like it and will more than likely purchase again. *4.8 stars* ... show more
