this is the best concealer I’ve ever used and I have so many. On top of being the best concealer this is also the cheapest and most affordable concealer by far. This concealer is not greasy has a very great satin texture on my face and is perfect for every day use. I’ve been using this concealer for a few days, and I’m really impressed. It blends easily into the skin, provides great coverage for dark circles, and still looks natural. The formula feels lightweight and doesn’t leave my under-eye area looking dry or cakey. I also like the sponge applicator because it makes application quick and convenient. It stays in place for hours and gives my makeup a fresh, bright finish. I would definitely purchase it again.

The only concealer that doesn’t make my wrinkles worse or cause cracks. Every other brand I’ve tried either leaves my wrinkles much more noticeable by settling inside them over the day or it will crack and separate. Or become so dry that it makes my eyes look dehydrated. But not this brand. This works! I wear it all day for work and it stays in place with just a slight mist from my matte setting spray and slight dab of my hydrating setting powder. Those three combined make my under eyes look normal by hiding my chronic dark circles. It’s easy to apply with the included sponge tip and a separate make up sponge to blend it out. It’s creamy but not too thick to blend easily. You only need a little bit, a bottle lasts me just over a year or more. This color matches perfectly. You can’t even tell where my skin is versus where the concealer is. I don’t wear foundation so I just blend the concealer out as I only use eye make up.

I am a makeup snob. I have stupidly high standards for cosmetic performance, and drugstore brands have let me down every single time I've given them a shot. So when I graduated from Covergirl to Sephora after college, I never looked back. My kit is full of Dior and YSL foundation, Armani concealer, Benefit brighteners, etc. I say this in order to grab the attention of my fellow makeup snobs: If you would never even consider Maybelline, this review is for you. Bloggers have raved about this product for a while, but I never bothered to check it out until a close friend and fellow product snob suggested it. Here are my findings: 1. It applies like the Armani Maestro Eraser liquid undereye concealer. This is very very essential, for those of us who hate the 5th hour cakiness of cream concealers but also hate the weak coverage and creasing of most liquid attempts. This eraser goes on with the Maestro's same thin liquid texture, without sinking into lines at all, and without losing opacity as you blend. 2. It is at least 50% more opaque than the Maestro. I was pretty stunned. Anything that can go on with that consistency but have noticeably better coverage is doubletake worthy imo. 3. The sponge applicator is better than you think. Firstly, it's antimicrobial, so you don't have to worry about the hygiene aspect. Secondly, its ability to blend the product is outstanding. I typically skip clumsy applicators like that, but with this, I do 80% of my application with that sponge tip, and then just finish with a good concealer brush to set it and blend out the edges. 4. It doubles as a highlighter. Every time I use this, I find myself seduced into just continuing the line of application from under my eyes out onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and nose bridge. A nice blending brush/sponge later, and there's this flawless highlight landscape to finish up, without settling badly into pores or caking up. 5. It sets beautifully with MUFE Micro HD powder and Shiseido translucent powder. It buffs out nicely, without chipping off into the brush. 6. It looks good without primer, which combined with its compact design and integrated applicator makes it an ideal purse dweller. 7. It worked on my thin but minimally wrinkled undereye area, and on my 60yo mother's more aged eye area. It's rare that I find a product that looks great on both our skin types, and I was impressed at how well it brightened her problem skin without caking or exacerbating the age marks. 8. It is lighter than you think, but cheap enough to test out different shades. 9. It lasts so much longer than you'd expect. I tested it on bare skin during a work-from-home day, just to see how the wear was, and was delighted to find it still working fairly well by the time I went to wash it off that night. I wore it again with a full face for a date night, and it looked flawless when I went to wash it off later. There are times when you don't want the totally opaque, nearly airbrushed look... but there are definitely times when you do. This eraser is now my official go-to product to pair with my Dior Airflash foundation, for those totally flawless skin look occasions. I could not recommend it higher, at very least as an experiment for the snobs among you.

I purchased the green color corrector hoping it would help cover, or at least minimize, the appearance of a scar on my lower leg. Unfortunately, it didn't work very well for that purpose. Even after applying the product, my scar remained quite visible and I didn't get as much color correction or coverage as I was hoping for. I have used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer on my face before in the regular skin-tone shades and have really enjoyed it, particularly for my under-eye area. Because I'd had such a good experience with the regular concealer, I was excited to try the green version for an area where I wanted some additional color correction. For my particular use, however, the green version was disappointing. I don't necessarily think that means it's a bad product. A scar on the lower leg is very different from the facial redness or smaller areas of discoloration that a green color corrector would typically be used for, and I could see this working much better on the face. If you're considering this specifically to camouflage a noticeable scar on the body, I wouldn't expect it to provide significant coverage on its own. For facial redness, though, I would still consider trying it, especially since I've had such a positive experience with the regular Instant Age Rewind concealer formula. Three stars for me because it didn't accomplish what I purchased it for, but I think my intended use may have been asking more from the product than what it is designed to do.

Purchased this for my wife, and it's easy to see why it's been around for so long. It does a great job covering dark circles and brightening the under-eye area without looking heavy or cakey, and the lightweight formula blends in quickly for a natural look. The biggest pros are the coverage, ease of application, and value for the price. The only cons are that finding the right shade can take a little trial and error, and the sponge applicator may not be everyone's favorite. Overall, it's a reliable product that delivers great results and is well worth the money.

This stuff works. I use it 1st, then foundation, then again over the foundation on my face for all the imperfections. People comment on my skin, and it's ageless look. It is ONLY due to this stuff covering up all the dark circles, freckles, and sun spots. It's an economical cover-up, it does the job, and it doesn't settle into lines on your face. It's a necessary product.
