There are several shades to choose from, and the foundation blends in perfectly, leaving no unattractive make-up line on the edges of your face. Blush goes on top easily and blends well. The foundation is not thick and clogging, but rather light. Even so, it covers imperfections nicely without piling up in lines and creases at all, and it lasts all day and evening. I reach for this Dewy + Smooth version whenever the weather gets colder because it keeps my skin looking hydrated and soft instead of clinging to dry patches. The formula feels lightweight, blends easily, and leaves a natural, radiant finish that looks fresh through the day. The Nude Beige shade matches my skin tone nicely and builds up well without looking heavy. I get dry skin in the winter so even though Matte and Poreless was my favorite at first I knew I needed something more moisturizing. I also like that the Dewy and Smooth line has SPF. I am pleased with this foundation although it’s thinner and gives less full coverage than the Matte and Poreless version. The shades are also very different. 110 porcelain is a good 3 shades darker in the dewy and smooth line and has a completely different undertone. I also own made of the deeper shades that I use as liquid bronzer and contour and their matte and poreless versions also look like a different shade compared to dewy and smooth. So be prepared to try different shades even if you already wear matte and poreless. However the product is affordable enough that I don’t mind experimenting with a few different shades to find the best match ... show more

As a woman with mature skin, I avoided trying this foundation. It's more difficult finding something that looks soft and like real skin without falling into fine lines or looking cakey. I love Wet n Wild's photo focus line. Very nice on the skin and cost effective yet there was something missing. I after reviewing scads of YT videos, I decided to try this one. I'm so glad I did. It's absolutely lovely on my skin. Tip: Less is more with this one. I'd start with half a pump. It covers like silk and has a huge shade range. One thing I appreciate is that Maybelline tells you which shades are warm, cool or neutral. That makes selecting the right shade easy. It goes on like a dream and it's buildable if you like full coverage. At may age, I can't do matte finishes anymore so this is more like a satin. Slightly matte but with a dewy finish. It's just beautiful. Best yet, it's affordable. I've tried Makeup by Mario, Estee Lauder etc. and none of the high-end brands worked. There's no fragrance to speak of, which I like. The only thing to keep in mind is that it pours out so if you're like me and prefer a pump, you can buy them for a couple of bucks. The pump from Amazon works great. ... show more

I have used this for more than 5 years. It is not cakey, wide arrange of colors. I am fair and use 120. Lasts all day. Comes off easy with wipes, or soap and water. Blends easily. Does not clog pores. Seems to protect from sun too. I have never sun burned using it.
