I live in a cold region of the country and love that this doesn't feel at all cold or wet when I apply it to my face. The matte finish is effective in lessening the shininess of my skin. My only complaint is that, like most makeups, it easily transfers to anything that might come into contact with your face, like your shirt collar or someone taller's shirt when you hug them. If you touch your face, and then touch something else, it will transfer to that surface. ... show more

    • Use a foundation brush!
Though it's soft and airy, I had more trouble getting it to go on evenly than I expect. However, after a little research, I tried applying it with foundation brush instead of a sponge, and it truly a game changer! Although it seems counterintuitive to apply a cream or mousse with a brush, it really does make this stuff go on much more evenly than if you use a sponge (and fingers are a waste of time). The makeup itself is great and doesn't make me break out. It's an airy mousse but I'd say it provides moderate coverage (blotchiness, small pimples, etc.). Choosing a foundation color can even be tough in person—let alone online—but I can say that the color I ordered does match exactly to how it appears in the display picture. ... show more

I really enjoy Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse Foundation. Since I have oily skin most foundations don't stay all day, but the Dream Matte Mousse Foundation is great for lasting all day.
