It is so lightweight, yet the coverage is amazing. I have mature skin (59) and was so worried I would turn orange because of the oxidation. That did not happen. I worried about it amplifying my wrinkles and setting in there. That did not happen either. It goes on so smoothly, and it really is full coverage. Covered all my redness and made my skin beautifully smooth and even. I have tried to many foundations and I really love this one. I bought porcelain ivory thinking it was the lightest and it really matched my skin well. It wore all day and did not oxidize, I didn't turn orange and it covered all my dark and red spots. Bought this just to see if it was as I remembered and it's honestly better than I remember. Stays on all day, though transfer can be really bad if you dont put a setting spray on top. Has really good coverage while being light on the face.

I've been using this brand and foundation for years, but as we ladies age, know that MATTE has the tendency to increase the appearance of eye lines. I quit using it for that reason and only use a concealer now. But I really still love the simplicity and coverage for everyday use. The color match is perfect. Longevity is all day. I really do like Maybelline foundations. I have tried this one before and liked it, but I do have a few minor issues with this. It has pretty good coverage and all, especially for acne and dark circles under eyes, but I do find that after a few uses, it gets a bit "crumbly." This foundation literally has the texture of mousse, like the dessert. It's very fluffy, soft, and blends well, but it does get a little bit of lumps in it, and sometimes little pieces fall when I go to put some onto my face. Also, even the lightest color is a little darkish, but it's not really that noticeable. It's a good product, but it is a bit pricey for such a small container. It does go a long way though, unless you like you wear a lot of foundation. I do sometimes use this as a concealer, especially under my eyes. Works pretty great. You don't even need to put powder on top unless you really want to because it's pretty thick and will stay on well. I recommend this product for those who want good coverage for acne or around their eyes and for those who get dry skin easily because this does not dry out skin. It makes your skin look moist, smooth, and healthy. I would say that the coverage is really good, yet, it doesn't make you look fake. It covers up imperfections perfectly, but not overwhelmingly. It actually looks pretty natural. I usually like to wear heavier foundations, but I like to wear this one when I'm in a hurry because it's very quick and easy to put on. ... show more

I have used this foundation for years and love the "air whipped" mousse and how it feels incredibly soft and airy to the touch. The high silicone content acts like a built in primer, filling in pores and smoothing out minor textures in your skin. Unfortunately, Maybelline has discontinued Dream Matte Mousse in many regions. It covers marks with a smooth matt finish and it stays all day long… i threw away the case and i didnt pay attention to the tone… but i just knew i love ir so i went online to re buy it… well i ordered two colors and both were wrong. I have always love a dewy foundation that makes me really glow and I have a humongous makeup collection. It’s really insane. I’m definitely a make up addict, but I thought I would try this foundation since I don’t own anything that’s matte finish however this is the most natural looking makeup. It looks fabulous and if you have the right primer and moisturizer you still can achieve a nice glow to your skin. I chose pure beige, which is a neutral because I’ve seen this foundation look orange on some people. I have light medium skin with a slight golden undertone and this blended and matched my skin beautifully. I’m middle-aged and this is one of the better looking foundations.
