I ordered this ribbon twice, about a month apart. The first one was a high quality thick ribbon. The second one was much lower quality, thinner and didn’t hold its shape as much. Five stars for the first order, three stars for the second.

It's a little pricey, but all ribbon of this caliber are. Gold underneath with gold trim and a great high quality red velvet on the top. I coupled this with gold sparkly ribbon and a top black and white for my Christmas tree. The wires are perfect to create that organic cascading flow for your tree. Bought a second one so I can finish the back of my tree. It's an investment for your tree, but I think if you keep the spool, you can carefully roll back and use it for years to come. ... show more

    • Makes Beautiful Bows
This is beautiful ribbon. It’s a deep blue-red , a British red, rather than an orangey-red . I’ve made full red bows with 2 1/2” ribbon to go on lit swagging on the front of our home, and the problems with them have been weak wire and fabric ~ they collapse in wind and rain, and take extra work to keep looking good. I’ve been able to make 18 loop bows with long triple streamers with this 4” ribbon, and even if weather crushes it a bit, it still looks great! I’d still like a bit heavier wire in it ~. but if you’re looking for a beautiful, sturdy indoor/outdoor Christmas ribbon, this is great, and well priced too! ... show more

This is a beautiful ribbon. It is thick and looks great as a bow. However, it does wrinkle if crushed so be aware of that. Quick shipment.
