I bought it as something to lay on the floor with. I tried it a few nights myself to see if it was sufficient. After laying on it, I immediately knew it needed more cushion. Its more foam than memory foam. Its not as dense. I did buy a memory foam and put it in the cover with the mattress and love it. I now use it in my office on the pull out sofa.

I was excited to get my bed, King Sized star version, until I realized that they sent both the wrong size AND color. Twin size in Bohemian. It's not even a color and size option available on this seller page. I got on the phone with customer service and explained, and they suggested I go to the UPS store to return the item, but for someone in my living situation, it's an extra expense. And I didn't want to make that expense on account of their mistake, having already shelled out $200 for the mattress I did want. Instead, they agreed to send a replacement and to keep the one mistakenly shipped at no charge. :) That was satisfactory. I'm hoping it sends correctly that time, but God willing, will update nonetheless about that one. Despite the reviews, I was surprised at how thick it actually appeared, even before airing it out (which I've just begun to do.) Some other photos showed a very 'deflated-looking' mattress so I was concerned, but this wasn't that at all. The photos you see are its thickness right out of the packaging! It's folded in half for space while it airs out..as I have limited room and don't want it ruined by pets...yet..but it's very plush looking. And for a twin, I'll comment on that one since it's what I have, it looks 'large' for a twin, which was also pleasantly surprising. I've yet to try it out, but looking forward to it, as I've had recent back pain and don't mind being a floor sleeper. The print is also beautiful. God bless, thank you. Jesus loves us. Great buy..at least I can speak for this version, lol. EDIT: The twin puffed to 3.5 inches. :) Comfy. But I didn't try it out until the king size I ordered came in the mail. I got my original order, the king size, in a timely manner. It's a huge beast! I gave it about a day or day and a half to puff up in indirect sunlight. The ruler shows its (out of the box) measurement. After fluffing, it was around 2.5 to 3 inches (depending on the area measured) so a bit uneven but no complaints. I didn't have room to try it on the floor, but it is topping my Queen memory foam mattress (the king can fold to fit, praise Jesus) and I've slept well on it. My pets love it. And my former hip and back pain is gone. I also put my twin on top of 'that' (weird but personal preference) and all the more comfortable. Even when it (the pain) tried to come on, the futon died it down not long after. Praise the Lord. 10/10 very happy with my purchase.

Purchased the mattress for tent camping. In photos, the mattress is on a platform to show thickness. It worked well for my mid aged body each night, waking with no pain. (Layered blankets on top as well) It was kind of the company to add in sheets matching the mattress. It does great for what it's made for. The only thing I would suggest needs improvement is the way it's packaged for travel. It comes in a large bag with two straps for tightening. However, one strap broke on me as it's made of plastic. I don't think the straps were made to really hold strength in scrunching the mattress together, it traveled rather big and bulky when folded. Hope this helps 😊

We've a cat so a good blow up mattress is just not worth the money because it'll break before we get our money's worth. Our cat can join this bed when we have guests as well. Easy to store or put aside. It was a bit weird in the beginning sleeping so low but I got used to it pretty quick. I've a bad back and I had no issues sleeping on this for 2 weeks. Only negative point is the bag to store the mattress in rips easily.

I got this because I'll be moving around a lot the next few years and wanted something more easily transportable than a standard bed frame and mattress...I've been sleeping on it every night for a little over a month and it's as comfortable if not more so than a regular bed! I have it laid out on a carpeted floor, and it feels just like a firm mattress. The pictures do make it look a bit thicker than it is, but it is about 4" thick as advertised, and it doesn't feel like I'm sleeping on the floor at all, regardless of sleeping position. (For reference, I am 110 lbs and 5'2, so I don't know how it would be for someone who weighs a lot more.) Overall, extremely good quality for only ~ $100! It came with a mattress cover in the same print as the mattress, as well as straps to secure the mattress when it's rolled up, and a bag for it. Overall, highly recommend!

This is perfect for a kids sleepover. It’s pretty comfy even for an adult. The only downfall is the folding/storage. The bag it came with is a material that rips very easily, almost like recycled paper, so after the first time I tried to fold it to store it, it ripped. It was also impossible to get it to fit in the bag in the first place. I’m thinking that eventually I can store it in a vacuumed storage bag, but It has been out in my grandkids’ playroom since I bought it. They love it for playing on the floor and also keep their indoor tent on top of it. I definitely continue to get my money’s worth out of it.

Hey guys! I hope this review finds you well and give you a better idea of what this futon bed will be like!! I recently moved from one state to the next. I have also recently got rid of most my large pieces of furniture, including my bed! So, when I realized that I needed a bed fast for my move. I figured I would go with something fairly small and convenient. One that would fit me and my 2 children! I took a chance on this mattress amd couldn't have been happier. I tend to suffer from back aches, and even sleeping on an expensive mattress would cause me to feel sore the next day. Fortunately, I haven't had an issue with this purchase! My children love the bed and it's easy enough to move around on cleaning day. I stack it with pillows for added comfort. And we are thoroughly enjoying the bed. I have given it 5 stars, just because I haven't found a reason not to like it. Eventually, I plan to move to a larger bed, but under the circumstances and trying this out for over a month, I am pretty satisfied with it :) Hope this helps.

Works for us, it’s not durable unless it has the cover. Ripped within the first few days but obviously still quite usable. Kids jump on it easy to pick up to clean in surrounding area.
