This mattress was not very thick. However, it served a purpose in that I wanted something light that I could handle myself and was good enough for a week trip to a family cabin with not furniture yet. I ordered a king size metal frame from Amazon (of course) to use with it. My husband, six-year-old and myself slept in it. It was decently comfortable although not great. You could feel the metal frame at times while turning or side sleeping. It worked okay and served its purpose but would be better on the floor or with a frame without slats. ... show more
