I liked this bed, it's just enough cushion and works well to roll out to pull out when I have guests. I slept quite well on this, it's not a thick mattress but it's not really thin. I had visitors and used this to sleep on, I would normally pull out a large mattress from the garage but was worried about cleaning it and putting it back so I got this and its easy to roll up and stash back into my storage closet. No need to worry about filling it with air or anything, I enjoy it.

April 2024: I bought the moon and star version of this Futon in August of 2022. My husband and I had two kids at the time and I was pregnant with my third. We had never owned a futon mattress before but every room in our house was occupied and my husband developed a nasty snore. I needed something that I could roll out on the living room floor to sleep at night and then roll back up out of the way. It is surprisingly comfortable for being much thinner than the kind of mattresses that I am used to. To be fair, I like extremely firm mattresses. Having a pad on a carpeted floor is exactly what my back needs. I sleep better on this pad than my actual bed. The rest of my family also heavily uses this pad. Sometimes I can sleep in my own bed if my husband is only quietly snoring. When that happens I still have to put out the futon at night because I will wake up to one or two children on it. My two year old needed to stop sleeping in his crib earlier than his siblings did and he often seems to prefer this mattress for sleeping at night. Sometimes even my husband sleeps on this thing and, while he does prefer our mattress, he seems to sleep well on it. It is pretty beaten up by now but keep in mind this thing has been HEAVILY used by 5 people, frequently left out during the day and played/jumped on. My husband has extremely sharp toenails and the material is wearing thin down at the bottom where his feet tend to rest. I have managed to patch that area up without much fuss. This thing has been bled on, peed on, puked on, etc. and it cleans up really well. We don't put it in a washing machine or anything like that. We do spot clean it and often hang it up to air out. There isn't anything that I haven't been able to get completely out of this pad. I don't know about any of the other color options but stains just don't seem to stick to the moon and star fabric. Also, it does not hold onto smells. I think it might have something to do with the fact that this can easily be hung over a railing for a few hours here and there. Two years later after taking a huge beating by a family of 5, this thing is still comfortable. It's maybe a little thinner than when we first bought it but any mattress would be after what we have put this poor thing through. Whenever we manage to destroy it, because that's going to happen with the kind of use it gets, I will 100% replace it with another of the exact same brand and pattern.

It’s soft and reasonably comfortable, but the main issue is the thickness. They advertised it as 4 inches, but it’s barely 3 inches. That was disappointing.

I don't often write reviews but this buy deserves one. I've owned a very high end expensive mattress in my home for the last 6 years. I was recently away from home and needed a sleeping option. I bought this mat as I figured family members could borrow it when they came to visit. Sleeping on this thing for a few nights, I and my partner BOTH had the best sleep of the last 8 years! WOW! I got home to my overpriced mattress and I'm so terribly disappointed. I'm trying to figure out if I should convert my mattress for guests and just sleep on this thing on the floor. Absolutely excellent sleep and I am highly impressed. When I first saw it, it didn't impress much, as it looked thin and uncomfortable. I haven't slept this good in years. Excellent mat and worth every cent. It went from a temporary use to full time use too.

The listing for the mattress topper claims that this is 4 inches thick, but in reality it only gets to 2 inches thick AFTER letting it puff back up for a week; this came in compressed packaging. I let it "decompress" for another 3 days and it still didn't reach a thickness of 4 inches. I felt obligated to purchase a mattress topper from another brand, so it felt comfortable to sleep on. I do not recommend this floor mattress.

Bought this mattress as a replacement for one we already had , but of a different brand, hoping it was as good or better...Decently sized ,as we bought the full, however it didn't shape out to be very fluffy or as shown in picture. It looks like a decent mattress but it doesn't fill out that much. The cover that came with it is made of very cheap fabric and already had a hole in the fabric at the zipper seem.. We are using it as a camp bed in our SUV for camping, and outdoor living but it will definitely need another cushion added with it, as it isn't very comfy. Doing the job but is only going to work temporarily unfortunately. We spent less on our previous floor mattress and of much better quality and was hoping it was a better version but nor really.
