This is nothing like the futon mattresses I have owned in the past it is lumpy & does not fully fill the mattress cover. It looks frumpy and is extremely uncomfortable.. I will stay away from shredded foam material in the future. I would never purchase an item with this material again.. the cover of the mattress was very nice would have loved this had it been quality filling. I am returning this mattress for something of better quality and comfortability. This was not even comfortable to sit on let alone sleep on.

There are so many futons out there that are this price and are so much better. It’s been 24 hours since I got my mattress so if I change my mind after the recommended 72 ill update this, but so far this mattress is EXTREMELY lumpy, in a very uncomfortable awkward way, and 100% not packed enough to provide good support, so some parts dig into you and other parts you just sink through. This wouldn’t work to sleep on, and barely works as a couch. If after the 72 hours pass and it remains like this I’m completely emptying the foam pieces and am just going to fill it with my own foam… DO NOT GET please save your money for something better even at this same price there are other futons that are better I made a huge mistake

this cushion is just too big to fold into a couch. i bought the full size mattress with a full size frame and we have to fully remove the mattress in order to fold up the frame into the couch. if we’re removing the mattress, then it just doesn’t fold up neatly and we end up with this, well, giant bean bag chair essentially. still way more comfortable than our last amazon couch, but definitely has its pros and cons still. edit: after 2 months of use, the mattress has begun to visibly flatten. hopefully we don’t need to replace it so soon, that would just be a huge inconvenience.
