I bought this on a whim because I hate peeling garlic and needed something easier. Boy has my life improved since getting this device. First the silicone rollers are amazing and so easy to clean and then the garlic smasher is amazing too. Both are so easy to use. I have no issue at all with the smasher but I would understand why some people do. I love this and even bought it for my parents, brother and a wedding gift for a friend!

The Garlic press just clogs up with your garlic and you lose most of it. It is nearly impossible to clean, I just threw it away, not worth anything. The peeling sleeves work well, better than my old ones that were smooth inside. Don't waste your money, just buy the peeling sleeves with the inside bumps by themselves, cheaper and you save the aggravation of dealing with something that does not work at all.

Prior to purchasing this item I had used the exact same garlic press for at least five years, in which you put a garlic clove in the press and squeeze. I like this press 10x better. It is so much easier to press garlic this way. It takes less strength and you can just scoop your minced garlic off of the top. I don’t use the blue and black tubes to peel the garlic though. The press is easy to clean and very durable as well.

The silicone peelers work good but the garlic press does not. It is not sharp and does not mince the garlic. It is also not easy to clean. I am going to throw it away.
