Wish there was more depth on the top fold-over/clear area on top but I've been able to fit a decent bit of tools in there. More than enough to keep you working and not needing to run to the store or go digging around when doing a project for anyone starting out or looking for another box. Definitely enough space plus some to store all the tools you would need to keep your car going if you break down on the side of the road, most car repairs/bolt-on upgrades, and other projects that don't need a lot of specialized tools. ... show more

I am using my toolbox for some sewing and quilting supplies. This was the best looking box for my needs, and I wanted one which opens up like this with the two trays. It is very lightweight, so I doubt I would ever use mine for heavy tools as I would not want anything heavy on those top two trays. The clear cover requires both hands to pop open and the whole thing has to open, not just one side or the other, but that is minor. Those compartments are too small or shallow for most of my stuff but I might eventually find something to fit in them. I wanted a toolbox to hold a variety of things and this works because right now I am having to use my dining room as my sewing room, and I have to clear everything out when we have company.
