This is the size I wanted for my minimal supply of household tools, nails, screws, etc. It'll replace an awkward little make-do holder I've been annoyed with for years. Also, this one can carry all the tools to whatever simple little task I'm doing. As we all know, it's never the right screwdriver, right?! The latches are sturdy and will hold it closed until I need it open. Nice that it opens wide which will make getting at everything easy.

Perfect size toolbox for a condo or apartment. Holds plenty of tools and the compartments are great for separating nuts screws and nails.

Tool box is sturdy enough although a touch smaller than I estimated (my issue, not the box's). One thing: don't expect anything small you put into the clear-topped bins on top of the toolbox to stay separated. The clear plastic cover does not have ribs matching the walls on the storage spaces to "seal off" one container space from the others. Some of the ribs will separate some of the spaces somewhat from mixing, however, when you open the main toolbox lid, everything in those bins will start to slide around and potentially to intermix. Some of the spaces are worse than the others about allowing mixing. I was counting on being able to keep small parts separate in those bins, so this bit is disappointing to me.

For its size 16” has good distribution of spaces and with four level including the lid is perfect. The only con is that the handle slips when opening the lid, preventing the correct position and opening completely. But with two “tears” of silicone, at both sides of the handle, problem sold!

I would give five stars if the top storage under the clear lid was truly functional… problem is that clear plastic lid is ridiculously difficult to open. So much so that you get frustrated and don’t end up using it for anything. Wish the toolbox itself was a bit deeper, but it serves it purpose! Would definitely recommend. I use it for all my bike tools. It fits really well under the rear seat in my Ram 1500 Crew Cab.
