    • Gave the suspension a much tighter, cleaner feel
I installed these on an older Civic that needed a suspension refresh, and they made a noticeable difference in how the car feels. The original setup was starting to feel soft and tired, so I wanted something that would tighten things up while also letting me adjust the ride height. The coilovers feel solid and the finish looks clean. Everything looked well put together before installation, and the hardware felt sturdy once everything was in place. What I like most is the adjustability. Being able to fine-tune the height made it much easier to get the stance where I wanted it instead of being stuck with one fixed drop. After installation and alignment, the car felt more planted and responsive. The steering felt tighter, the body movement was more controlled, and the overall ride felt much more intentional than it did with the worn factory suspension. The car also looks better sitting a little lower. It gave it a cleaner, sportier appearance without making it feel like the suspension was only changed for looks. Overall, this was a really nice upgrade for refreshing an older Civic. It improved the stance, tightened up the handling, and gave me the adjustability I wanted without making the setup feel overly complicated. ... show more

Another awesome product from maXpeedingrods. These coilovers are seriously impressive. The overall construction, machining, finish, and hardware all feel exceptionally well made right out of the box. Everything fits together properly, and the adjustment hardware feels solid—not flimsy or cheap like some budget suspension kits. maXpeedingrods has done a great job with these, as they have with everything they make. This company makes awesome parts, just wish their inventory carried over into parts for vets from the muscle car era too! . These coilovers will offer a huge improvement in both appearance and adjustability, while still feeling like a quality product built to last for your old school Civic. If you want a clean, adjustable coilover setup for the 1988–2000 platform without spending a fortune, these are an excellent choice. This height adjustable coilover kit is listed for a broad range of older Honda and Acura platforms, including the 1988 through 2000 Civic, 1992 through 1995 CRX del Sol, and 1990 through 2001 Integra. Adjustable ride height gives considerably more flexibility than fixed lowering springs when setting the car up for the desired stance. I love how these coilovers look. They're grey color looks great on my ride, are low profile and they were easy enough to install. So far, there's no squeak after 2 weeks from install. So far they are good quality and pretty easy to adjust. I definitely recommend them.
