I have been learning on how to work on my cars thanks to the amazing people who took the time to record and upload videos on YouTube. A weekend Warrior that likes to gain new set of knowledge and skills to be more self sufficient. I needed to replace both tie rods anyway so I figured might as well put these on there. Anyway with that said, for the price … wow. Do not pass this up if you just want a small project to do over your weekend. The installation was very straight forward and it came PRE LOADED!! Exactly to where I wanted it. With the stock tire/wheel 185/65R14 setup, my center cap to the top fender is 12in which is a perfect fit. The adjustability or coil overs are awesome. The metal feels good and strong, you will definitely get your moneys worth. I have not done the two in the back yet because I have not learned how to bleed the brakes yet. But I will set them at 13-14in on the rear adjusting for the weight of two 10s or 12s that I am planning on installing. It’s an older spare car, but I can learn on it and it makes me feel extremely confident driving it because I am the one that worked on it. Next thing to lean is DIY alignment lol over all, price and quality, for what you’re paying for, it’s worth it.

6 months later and still riding good. A little stiff but most coilovers are back breakers unless you’re spending a lot and also get them adjusted properly. I’ve adjusted several heights and also the front camber. My advice lube the threads so they don’t get rusty because they will if it’s your every day driver. Worth the purchase for me.

What can I say?They were a cheap set of coil overs. For the price they really do the job well, However I think I would have rather spent the grand on a nice set of coil overs. I think for a heavier car they would have done a lot better, But at the end of the day the springs that come with the struts are way too stiff for a 1996 toyota corolla dx. The rings that are used to adjust hight and spring rate are aluminum so you really only get so many adjustments before the edges the provided tool holds on to starts to break away. And the antirust coating in the threaded portions of the strut is not great, and that's saying lot cause I live somewhere where salt is rarely used on the streets. If you can save up the 1000 dollars for a better set. Just do it. It's worth it. These are damn durable though.
