My experience with these shock absorbers has been very positive.
I ordered this pair of rear shock absorbers for my 2012 Chevrolet Malibu because the original ones were becoming too soft. Signs that the rear shocks are failing include a bouncy or rough ride, rear squatting (where the back end lowers during acceleration), increased stopping distance, and unusual noises such as clunking or rattling when driving over bumps. You might also notice that the vehicle rolls or sways more when cornering, especially at higher speeds. I chose this product because it came with everything I needed to replace both rear shocks. It's advisable to replace shock absorbers in pairs, as they usually have the same age and mileage. Before placing my order, I utilized Amazon's fit confirmation feature to ensure compatibility with my vehicle. The fit and finish of these shock absorbers are excellent. A side-by-side comparison shows that they match the OEM units perfectly, to the extent that a casual observer wouldn’t be able to distinguish them from the original parts. Replacing these shock absorbers is straightforward since they bolt on at both the top and bottom. If you’re unsure about how to replace the rear shocks, there are plenty of YouTube videos available with step-by-step instructions.
