  • A bit bulky, but it works very nicely if you have a larger radio.
This is a great radio much, but it is a bit bulky and designed for a large radio. If you want to purchase this for a Baofeng, or any of the small, cheap, Chinese radios, try something else. If you want a small radio to fit, the excess straps are unreasonably bulky. I am using this with the Retevis RT29 and Motorola XPR7550e, and they both fit, but it is still a bit large. It seems that this pouch is designed for something more like the Motorola XTS or APX series. If you want to use this with a medium to large size radio, it is a good choice if you aren't too concerned about the size. The material/build quality is as good as any Maxpedition product (meaning the build quality is great). ... show more

  • Great gear
Love Maxpedition gear. I own several pieces of their items, and all have served me well over the years. I like the functionality of this radio pouch, as I can adjust it to fit just about any piece of comm / tech I want to use. The material is sturdy, and can take a beating. Maintenance is simple; I am in a tropical environment in Asia, where things tend to rust and mold rather easily. A couple of my Maxpedition items have gotten moldy, but that’s just because I forgot to clean them upon storing them away; but it’s not something that can’t be fixed with some soap and water. Overall, solid equipment (in my humble opinion). ... show more

  • Amazing Radio pouch
As I’m paramedic I go thru a lot of different radio pouches and usually always go cheap.I was tired of Velcro radio pouch where after a few months the Velcro is fuzzy and and radio holster it’s self is floppy and loose. I know maxpedition makes good gear but I’ll be honest I hate spending more money than I need to but the very first day attaching this to my belt I know it was worth it. The straps are super sturdy and lock into place.I work a couple of arrest and the radio did not move to the point that I didn’t even notice it.I also have a pen light and Olight nice a secured in there. So if you like me always buying the cheap holster just pay a little more and you will be very happy you did. ... show more

  • Works as it should, good price will hold almost any size radio.
Works as it should, good price will hold almost any size radio due to the ability to fully adjust this radio holder. Only one mole strap so it is very floppy.

  • Solid product
Works great for the larger radio's my Anytone AT-D878UV, Kenwood TH-D74 and my Uniden SDS100 scanner fit great. Its adjustable for how deep and how big around the radio. The best feature is how open it is the SDS100 scanner runs hot and this pouch gives it plenty ventilation.

  • Watch what you order
Good product, I ordered a molle rig when I should ordered a belt rig so it was a little loose on my belt, but that’s my fault.
