It's kind of lightweight cable, so hopefully it's more durable than I would expect, but for now it's great. The plugs seems well build and sturdy, and the charging function works very well. Plugged it into a 2.5w power supply, played Alien Rogue Incursion for almost 3 hours and still had 75% of my battery left when I was done! Not too shabby at all! For those wondering, The Quest would would have died after roughly an hour and half without this charging function. Paired with a 25w charging block, this thing is the BEST replacement link cable I've ever bought.

This cord worked like a CHARM. After my official Meta Quest 2 link cable got shredded by accidentally running it over with my pc chair, I got this one to replace it. By itself, it's sufficient, but nothing close to the official quest link cable. I ended up buying a 25w power block adapter plug with a USB-C to C cord. With the USB-3 plugged into my PC, and the USB-C plugged into the wall, after 4 total hours of gameplay I only lost 6% total. Combined, it's a hell of a lot stronger than the regular official link cable. I DEFINITELY recommend getting this thing, with a power block for the wall at the appropriate wattage for your headset. It's an absolutely unstoppable force with hella long term gameplay. I need to buy a second one soon for my partner! ... show more

Works as a Link Cable, Inline Charging Port is Iffy.

It works as a link cable and has a solid connection. However, the inline charging port doesn't quite charge up your headset while you're using it. At most, it will keep it around the same battery level, but usually it just makes it discharge slower. I wonder what effect this would have on the headset's battery life over time. Cable is nice and long, but is thick and doesn't bend well so it can get in your way a bit. Fast enough connection speed to use as a proper link cable though. 4/5 Stars, not perfect but gets the job done. ... show more

I’ve never really had issues with this brand other than the link cable eventually being used too much and wearing at the wire. The quality is great, it charges the headset (it stopped over time due to the headset age and I think wire age) it’s lightweight and has great quality and speed of connection, I only had issues when loading large files/games or using unity while connected ... show more

Not USB 3.0 this is a USB 2.0...

This cable has a BLACK connector at the USB A connector end. Genuine USB 3.0 has a BLUE A connector. I have bought two of these in the past few months and they won't work with the Quest 3. The BLACK connector is USB 2.0 with (up to 480 Mbps). The quest 3 needs a genuine USB 3 connection. So I used this originally to charge a meta 3 headset. Now I use it to turbocharge my phone, watch, and windows surface tablet. It's super long and thick, and the speeds it's hits charging and transferring is actually commendable. It's really a decently priced cable, my only complaint is I should've got it in black. The white color looks nice when it's clean but I go a lot of places and can make it look dirty just moving around. It would be nice to see something to tidy it up when in use and keep it off the floor when not needed. I definitely would like to get 2 or 3 more down the road. ... show more

I have tried a few other vr cables. The Iniu cable did not have the throughput that it advertised so games would crash. The Syntec cable is awesome. It does 2.5GBPS but wont keep the Quest 3 charged. It will still die after 2 hours. This cable however, actually does 2.5GBPS and will charge as you play. The game play was flawless and the headset never dropped in power at all.
