There is no stitching to it. The side wall just pulled out from the glued seam. I liked it at first, but now i can’t wait to get a replacement and throw it in the garbage. What a waste of money!

I bought this for the purpose of holding business cards. Just as it's advertised. I kept it in my car so I could have a few extra business cards on hand if I ever needed one while I was on the road. I rarely took it out, only a handful of times, at most It appeared to be in good condition until the glue that holds the pieces together completely failed and it just fell apart. It's become useless and I've thrown it away. The "stitching" on the "leather" is just for looks, it does not actually hold the card holder together. Glue does that, which will eventually fail and you'll be throwing yours away too. Don't bother with this. Spend a few extra bucks and get one that is better quality! ... show more

It's nice looking, but it's really hard to get the business cards out! I really wanted it to hold 25 cards, which I MIGHT, but you can really only put about 10 in it in order to actually get them out. When you have someone standing in front of you at a networking event and you are struggling to get your business card out, it's just not good. This item looked really nice when I bought it. I thought it was well made. However, after keeping it in my car for about 18 months, it just fell apart one day when I picked it up (I live in the northeast). The stitching is there for show. The sections are actually glued together. I would not buy this card holder again. It's just not built to last. I purchased two Floto (Italian-made) leather card holders to replace the MaxGear card holders. Floto's products are more durable. ... show more

I got this for my husband and received it today. Wow, it is a really great-looking case. It's not genuine leather but it looks like the real deal. While the card case is nice looking and holds quite a few cards, it just doesn't hold up to daily use. When my first card case separated at the seam within a few months, the vendor immediately sent me another one free of charge (customer service definitely gets 5 stars). The second one lasted almost six months and came apart at the same seam. Rather than being stitched, the seam appears to be glued together. I think being in a pocket and being warmed by body heat just caused the glue to lose adhesion. I will be replacing this item with one a bit more expensive, but which doesn't have the quality issues I've experienced with this one. ... show more

My fault.. partly. I did not read far enough into the description. First off.. PU leather is NOT LEATHER at all. The PU stands for polyurethane. Call it what it is, and for the love of god, don’t put the word ‘leather’ in the header without adding the ‘PU’. That is very deceitful, and false advertising, if you ask me. Had this been ‘full grain’ or ‘top grain’ leather, it would have been ideal, but in its current form, it is only worthy of the thrift store. ... show more
