It is very easy to assemble, and it can be arranged to fit any space you need, but the "shelves" are not shelves. They are low-quality (in my opinion) sheets of plastic laid over 3 metal rods each. As a result, the "shelf" is like two very shallow pockets (one bar runs under the center). Ergo, if something is not big enough to rest across at least two (or all three) of the rods, the item will lean or topple over. Also, heavy stuff must be on the bottom only. I tried using the bookshelf as a bookshelf (what was I thinking??) and it collapsed and I was back to fitting the rods together. But note that I kept it and am using it, even though I complain about it at times, so there's that. ... show more

These work for what I need but they won't last forever. Definitely a temporary solution rather than a long term one. But they're great for that purpose and if you're thorough with reading the description it should be obvious they're not mean to last forever 😆
