Bought this for my mom. it took me a while to put together at first but the next time buy it I'll know how so it will go much faster. My mom loves it so much she can't stop thanking me for it every time she passes buy it. It organized all her DVDs that were just piled up in boxes and albums on a bench. Now she's excited to buy more DVD albums and organize her DVDs. Sturdy and feels like it could hold a lot of weight. material feels strong for such a light weight product. I'll le you know how long it last.. if you don't hear from me it means the product is still going strong.     • Good Storage but a little wobbly
I love that it has a lot of storage and comes together easily. It comes with a wall mounting bracket piece to keep it stable but I am unable to put those types of holes in the wall at my location (work office) so it is a liiiiiittle wobbly. Not terrible but definitely noticeable. I was in between 3 and 4 stars but went with 4 because I am sure if I was able to use the wall brackets it would be perfect. For the price, its a good deal and I also get lots of compliments on it from my coworkers. My office is pretty small and the shelf takes up a very small amount of room in here and is flush against my back wall so it looks really great in here. ... show more

Wanted something with a lot of storage and this fit the bill. Only regret is i didn't get the the 12 cubby one. Easy to put together also. liked it so much I bought a smaller black one for my livingroom. Would recommend.

    • Great shelf, misleading description
I love this shelf. It was affordable, easy to put together, and holds everything I put on it. I have books and Pokemon cards and other decorative items on the shelf, which is holding up perfectly given the amount of weight I put on it. I am extremely disappointed with the Amazon listing. The listing makes it sound like you can build the cubes however you would like. I bought the 12 cube shelf with the intention of making separate 7 cube and 5 cube structures. The Amazon listing does not state that there are only enough parts in the box to support only the total 12 cube shelf construction, and shows photos of the 12 cubes built in different shapes and styles. In the instructions within the box after I bought and received the product however, one of the first statements in the instructions is that there are limited parts which might not support building in ways other than the 12 cube shelf. Therefore, after building the 7 cube shelf, I was only able to build two more cubes. This completely ruined my entire plan for why I bought this shelf. I believe that this is false advertising that the seller is not including this information in the Amazon listing up front. I would have bought the same shelf but the 18 cube one instead of the 12 one had I known. But they withheld this information and now I only have nine of 12 possible cubes constructed and extra parts laying around that I'm not able to fully build more cubes with.     • Missing 2 cubes
It was super easy to assemble, but it was missing parts, so I could only create 10 cubes. I have 9 bins of classroom books, and they hold the weight well, but I wouldn't trust them not being secured to a wall to prevent tipping.

    • Not able to sustain weight
I got few storage bins to keep in each of the spaces but the pipes were losing grip because of the weight. It became so often that it was frustrating to keep fixing it back. It's ok if you plan to use it for light use but not otherwise
