A Review from a PRO level player I ran into one of the pros at a tournament who was using this paddle and recommended it. I was a bit hesitant at first because I have been using a SixZero DBD for a bit now and I love that paddle. He explained to me that this Havik-16 is by far the BEST thermoformed paddle he has ever played with so I gave it a shot. From the moment I picked up the paddle I could not believe how good it felt in my hand. It was balanced like i haven’t felt before. I was able to tell immediately that the quality was second to none. I went out and played with it and from the moment I began playing I could not believe the power and spin I was getting. I had read that the design of this paddle had something to do with the was it feels and is balanced and it is absolutely true. The paddle feels so light in my hand and is very easy to maneuver like a 14mm paddle yet I have the power and control still. I immediately fell in love and won’t ever look back. Pros -Balance: Hands down the best balanced paddle i’ve played with ⁃ Swing: Because of the design it feel light yet it is 16mm so I still have the control and power. ⁃ Spin: Insane. Super gritty ⁃ Control: Resets and dinks are effortless ⁃ Power: Not too poppy. You can still feel the ball sink into the face of the paddle and create amazing power. ⁃ Aesthetics: The best looking paddle out there. ⁃ Grip: Love the ribbed grip. It’s like typing on a key board. I always know where my hand needs to be. ⁃ Packaging: The only company to provide amazing packaging and a free cover. Cons ⁃ While I love the paddle immediately, after about 5-8 games I felt the paddle break in more where I could really feel the control of the paddle. Over all, A+ in my book. Amazing paddle.

I previously had a Selkirk 003, but I was seeking more power and spin for a stronger serve. I tried the Joola Hyperion, but it was too soft for my game. I’ve been through a long list of paddles and finally I tried a friends Havik 16 - Power and I could not believe how good the paddle felt. It’s been night and day difference for me being able to generate power whenever I need it yet this paddle has soft touch. The power created during volleys is unreal. I've been able to develop a strong topspin serve, a skill I've been working on. I love the paddle, love the looks and for the price, you can not beat this paddle. These guys certainly have not left any stones un turned. I’d like to commend Maverix for producing such an amazing paddle which has made the game soooo much for fun for me. A++++ All the way around.
