Holes ARE-THERE! Set screw in hole, press lightly thru, super thin piece-falls-out like a hole punch. Holes are there.... we had one hole like, hubby put screw in and it fell out. Lol Beautiful stools, but huge in diameter. We replaced for narrower brand. Perfect!

The product itself is well made, however I have two major issues with this. First, the color isn’t even close to the photo. I purchased this because the color looked more like our wood in the photo, but it is definitely a lighter greyer wood, more like their other products. Which brings me to my second issue- they are clearly using these legs for multiple styles of stools because of the two four legged stools I purchased, 3 of the legs didn’t fit.
