I absolutely love my new Maui Jim's! After debating over several styles, I chose these because I wanted glass lenses with a stylish frame. The brown/black frame is very comfortable, and the shade of the lenses is perfect for driving and other typical outdoor activities.

I had bought my first pair of MJ's 18 years ago. My favorite glasses period and no other brad compared. Now with a more modern pair with the new lenses. My new pair are now my favorites. They best my old pair by a considerably. Frames fit my wide round face. Great clarity, no glare and I love the style of the frame. There is no equal in my opinion for quality and style.

I already have a pair of Ho'okipa's which I love, but wanted the Lava lens in a more traditional wrap frame. Ordered them last week and they came yesterday...except they were the Alenuihaha frames. The box was marked correctly, but wrong frames. Those were HUGE on my face so off they went back. Thought they couldn't make the same mistake twice and thankfully they did not. The Kaiwi Channel fit so well with great coverage...and the lens....yeah, awesome. I'm sticking with Maui Jim for good!!

I have owned Maui Jim sunglasses for more than a decade and can't see myself wearing anything else. The quality of the lens outperforms other high end sunglasses. You can really see the difference if you wear these near the ocean where fish can be just beneath the surface. Without them you can't see anything because of the glare from the water, but these lenses block out all of the glare and you can see the fish. I was concerned about the blue lenses, but they don't affect the vision at all. If all you buy are $20 pairs of glasses that break, do yourself a favor and invest in a good pair of Maui Jims. They will last you a long time and the company has a very good repair program if you do break them (I sat on mine once and they fixed them for free. I just paid shipping) so you can get them fixed for less than a new pair.
