I purchased this for our 6 year old daughter who has muscle atrophy. It was delivered on schedule and the delivery man was super nice. It came in a large box with plastic around the mat. My daughter had a lot fun taking it out of the box, especially not knowing what it was, she was super excited. The box was just as fun as the cheesemat, she turned the box it into a car, a spaceship, a plane and hotel by the beach. ❤️ In previous review post, some people mentioned that there was an strong odor and yes... after we took it out of the box, there was an intense chemical odor that lingers for a few days. At one point I totally forgot about the strong odor and went on about our day and kept telling my significant other that I smelled something burning and I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from but then when I was going around the house trying to investigate where the burning smell was coming from, I went to move the mat upstairs and realized that it was coming from the cheesemat. The smell was so intense that I thought something was burning... lol! The smell does go away but it’s intense straight out of box and it will linger for a few days. Set side from the smell, the mat IS AWSOME! My daughter loves it and wants to play on it everyday. The material is really good quality and folds nicely and is light weight. I have a 6 yr old in gymnastics and this is perfect for her to practice what she's working on in class at home. She can also fold it up into a cube to help her on bars. Much lighter than I thought it would be, but also seems very durable and well made. My 4 year old boy also likes jumping around on it! ... show more

This is a high quality mat that is easy to fold up and use. The foam is tough and will probably last for quite some time. I measured the base and width and got 56" and 27" respectively. It's not a huge deal but I'm a stickler for conformity, and I figure these have to be coming out of a factory and shouldn't be fluctuating too much. It's definitely much more than the 48" one that is the next down and I wanted the additional length so it would last longer for my kids, but that's the reason for losing a star. ... show more

So far so good, I order this for my daughter. It helps a lot with flips . I wish I would’ve paid attention to the height . Other then that it’s beautiful.
