I purchased these Matisse Women's ankle bootie’s in Caramel color in October 2024 and they are some of my favorite boots. The leather is a great quality and it’s so soft. I was torn between the Vintage Tan and the Caramel but the caramel has a slight distressing that gives them a worn look that’s hard to describe but they are a beautiful boot that I get so many compliments on every time I wear them. They have a 2.5” block heel, approximately 7” shaft height, and 13” circumference. My calves are a little larger so they were a little snug at first but after several times wearing them they loosened up. I normally wear a 5.5 - 6 and the 6.5 fit perfectly. They are pricey but well worth the money, they are the type of boot that lasts! ... show more

The shaft is stiff, I will fold the top over when not wearing and leave a few inches unzipped until it softens up. Other than that, perfection. Light tan, embossed leather…can’t beat it especially at the sale price. Will go with so many of my pants and midi skirts. Likely not for a person with thicker ankles. ... show more

    • Ankle is tight

These boots are beautiful very nicely made and comfortable to walk in they look almost identical to the $500 pair I was lusting over. My only complaint is that the ankle is so tight that it hurts. I do not have large ankles at all and I can not zip these all the way without having my circulation cut off and being in pain. I just sip them halfway up and I seem to have no problems but for what they cost because these are still not cheap at over $200 they might want to fix that. ... show more

    • Tried & tested boots... in a new color & texture!

Already have these in black and love them. The brown is rich and deep enough to still wear with black, but it's great to have this shade as an option, a long with the croc texture. Initially they were dusty or dry looking and therefore a bit underwhelming, however after a little mink oil they are looking fab and can be dressed up or down. 133 is a great price on Amazon, vs double that elsewhere. ... show more

These boots are so cute, but the opening is way too small. I had to return them. I have a black pair I bought years ago in a wide, even though I have a narrow foot and slim legs. The brown aren’t available in a wide.
