After a failed attempt to buy a bag locally, I saw this bag on Amazon and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical and wasn't expecting much, and I'm glad to say I was wrong! For work/school: laptop compartment is more than enough for a MacBook pro + an iPad or two (photo attached). For travel: It can easily hold whatever you need for overnight, probably for 2 nights as well but I haven't gotten to check this yet. It's very comfortable on the back, I walked *a lot* with it and I was fine. It has room for a portable charger, water bottles, a sweatshirt and of course money, passports etc. Internal division is great - the laptop compartment is not very wide, just enough for the hardware, while the second large compartment is pretty huge with a lot of inner pockets, very comfortable for many usages. Didn't see any zipper issue so far - all working very smoothly. Less important but still important - it's pretty, as seen in the product page, no nasty surprises here. This is a super travel backpack and will fit into the ‘personal item’ small size bin for flying. Airlines are closely checking the size of your one free personal item to bring aboard. I recently was fined $100 at the gate on a frontier flight bc my personal item exceeded the allowed size by one inch. The bag had always been acceptable. Taking no chance for this flight I researched many types that would fit in the sizing bin and fit my needs. I always travel with an iPad so that was also had to be considered. Not only did this bag accommodate all my ‘stuff’ but had room left over. Stuffing it to capacity might have not fit in the sizing bin so I took no chances. I really wanted to keep this backpack becuase it's so beautiful, and I love the lavender color with gold accents. However, it's too small for a travel backpack. I was going to India and needed a bad with larger compartments so I could fit my essentials as a carry-on, and while traveling around India. My old cheap school backpack was what I ended up taking because this one just couldn't fit everything I needed. It does have nice compartments for organization, but the straps aren't very padded or comfy, and there are lots of features that were unnecessary for me, like the charging port hookup.
