I’ve purchased several of these blankets in the past, they make for great gifts, especially for new moms. Although this blanket is truly pocket size, I’m one stick of gum from having to wear a dreaded fannypack, lol. I add a carabiner to my blankets, I already have enough junk in my pockets, so it’s nice to just clip the blanket on my belt loop when I’m not carrying my messenger bag. I keep noticing fellow reviewers complaining about not being able to fold the blanket back into its pouch, I don’t get it. If you follow the built in pattern that’s sown on the bottom, it only takes like 30 seconds to fold and stuff back in the pouch. I’ve even had my nephews fold it, and they figured it out, so ya, if you don’t use the pattern then it’s almost impossible to fold again, but the pattern is right there for you. Everything about this blanket is well though out, I’ve used it at the park, beach and it’s always a hit. It’s even easy to fold in the wind, just turn yourself so the wind is at your back. I bought the black pocket blanket with the intention to take it along with me for impromptu picnics on an upcoming trip to South Korea. I love how it folds down so small and thin so it’ll be easy to carry around without taking up too much space in a crossbody bag. The material is very thin so don’t expect this to provide any comfort (I didn’t). The first blanket I ordered had loose stitching so I ordered a replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement also had loose stitching. At this point, I didn’t want to keep ordering a replacement and the stitching isn’t a deal breaker for me so I decided to just keep it. Luckily, the stitching on this latest one is just for the folding guideline so it doesn’t seem like a big issue to me if it completely unravels. I haven’t used it outdoors yet so I can’t attest to how well it holds up to moisture. I’ll definitely update this review once I’ve tested it out. ... show more

I love this product for various reasons. First, it folds into nearly nothing and into its own pocket, so it is easy to pack and doesn't take up much space. Second, it is dark so it is very resistant to stains. Third, since it is waterproof, it can be used as a picnic blanket or as a tablecloth. It has metal anchors in corner pockets, which secure it to the ground if you are using it as a picnic blanket. I want to like this product but i keep seeing loose threads and fibers all over the blanket. Makes me question the quality and if the premium price justify it. I just got it so time will tell. The folding is super easy as long as it’s not windy. And does everything its supposed to except the few negatives I mentioned in the beginning. ... show more

I took a trip to Europe and spent a day sitting on trash bags because I didn't have this. After that experience, I went on Amazon and ordered this. I can't wait for the next outdoor event so I can bring this with! It folds up small enough to fit in a pocket or to throw in a purse.

Yes, it is difficult to fold neatly, but I'm the type that enjoys the challenge and ceremony of folding it neatly as I can. I manage to fold it at least 2/3 of the way into the pouch every time. The folding guides are also helpful. The ground stakes are the best aspect of this blanket in my opinion. Very good quality. I'll be purchasing more of their products in the future. ... show more

    • Very compact but some issues
I really like the compactness of the blanket but wish the pouch covered the entire blanket when folded. The partial covering can make it look a bit messy. The quality of stitching is also an issue. There are so many loose threads.
