I bought this coupler lock for my small utility trailer that i use for hauling design gear to client shoots. It slips over the latch easily and I like the 6 positions since my old latch is a bit chewed up from years of use. The stainless finish looks good and hasn’t rusted yet after a few rainy weekends in the driveway. I can lock and unlock it one-handed while holding a camera case in tge other, which is exactly what i needed. Using this as a tool shed lock and it seems to work just fine. Its been getting rained on for the last couple of weeks and still opens and closes with no issues. I was worried after seeing the video review of the lock coming off by just pulling on it, but that must be an isolated incident because i tried pretty hard to do that and couldn't replicate it. We were renting a uHaul for a week trip and I wanted to secure the trailer so I could disconnect and leave while we were out and about. This was a low cost, great solution. Gave me peace of mind that it would deter theft and was easy to use. Only potential issue is you can tell it is low cost, the keys are kinda like the daughters first diary level quality (not robust) and I'm not sure I'd trust it to stay outdoors in the elements long term as it'd probably rust.
