I read the reviews taking note of the irregularities. I received the grill well packed and in good time. The assembly was typical of such grills and took about an hour. The pictures were easy to follow. The only problem I encountered was that two pieces were not in the box. I contacted the company (via their Amazon Store) immediately, had a response in less than 24 hours and the parts were in the Fed Ex system within another 24 hours and arrived 24 hours after that. I received follow up emails with tracking number and confirmation that they were working on resolving the issue. That's GREAT customer service. It's 2 degrees here today and the grill quickly heated to, and held, a 500 degree temperature.     • don't buy this if you know how to grill
bought this as a replacement based on reviews saying it works good. was looking for something cheap and small until I could build out my outdoor kitchen.. there are severely bad issues with this grill and it shouldn't be bought by anyone that knows what a good grill is or knows how to grill. 1. There is only 1 lighter on the grill. So you have to light the middle burner first and then turn on the outer ones to light. this is quite problematic for ease of use. additionally the design for getting gas to the outer burners is very bad. It flows through and out the back of the middle burner and then left and right through two open/horizontal "U" channels formed with sheet metal and then into the burners. The issue with this is twofold. a) the sheet metal "channel" gets red hot - so it will fail first and when it does, you want be able to get gas to the outer burners. b) ignition of the outer burners is suspect if there is a lot of wind or disruption to the channels because the front of the channel is uncovered (it relies on the weight differential between the gas and air to maintain a flow).. 2. the lighter is quite ineffective. I did a "100 ignite test", trying it 100 times in a row. It worked 11 times on the first spark and on average takes 5.3 times to light. that is very poor reliability. it helps to hold the button in for a minute or so before sparking (gets gas flowing), but even this doesn't work reliably. 3. the grill doesn't get hot. I turn it on and leave the lid closed for 30 minutes and then put meat on it.... no grill marks. granted this grill is supposed to be small, and the info claims that each burner is 10,000 btu, but the design is flawed. the burners are very far down at the bottom, the flame tents are far away from the flame with the apex almost touching the metal grate. so you are left simply baking your food because it doesn't cook with the lid open (I'm in the south so its not cold outside right now either). There is no real reason to have adjustable flame because you have to keep it on high to get any type of minimal "grill" cooking. this is even more disappointing considering how small it is - so it should be able to get much hotter than it does. 4. The holes on burner tubes are too small. I have grilled about 10 meals on this so far. Already the holes on the middle burner tube are clogged.. roughly 20%. unclogging them doesn't improve the temperature issue noted in #3 as the temp. issue existed prior to any clogging. Bottom line... in this case, you don't get what you pay for. you get something even worse. ... show more

    • Good simple grill for the money
Assembled in under an hour. Produces a nice hot blue flame that is easy to adjust. Slow cooked some salmon and it came out perfect. Nice upgrade from our 18 year old grill!

Easy to assemble, works great. Slight dent in front panel. One of the knobs turns counter to the temperature markings. Even after tightening the bolts on the wheel axis, there is still quite a bit of play for the wheels to move up and down the axis making it a bit wobbly when moving. I have not used this grill yet but I put it together and I don't see anything that can go wrong with it. It is sturdy. It has the big wheels I was looking for to roll across the gravel. And, what I really like is the drop down shelves. I have found that I never use the side burner on other grills. This way if folds down much smaller and is a much smaller footprint on the patio. It was also cheaper than the other grills. What's not to like? I received the grill and put it together with little problem. Of course the very last piece was missing - a thing to hold on the grease cup. I emailed them and quickly got a reply that they would send one "as soon as they could". After reading other reviews I expected that it would take a month or so. I had the part in less than a week. Good job guys! ... show more

Got this on sale. Good value for the price. No a $500 Weber, but who has the money? I put together in 2 hours by myself. Easy with all parts on a shrink wrap cardboard sheet. Only problem was lid handle unable to get tight. Only used once. Bought for small profile and ability to fold down the side tables. ... show more

    • burners are weaK
I really love a well seared steak , not burned but SEARED really well. this BBQ lacks the BTU's to do the job. As my brother says it produces "GRAY MEAT" It is adequate at the best. I would not say don't purchase this but know ahead of time what to expect.
