Very good for small projects. I use it on shirts and the stream is steady enough. I recently upgraded my air compressor but haven't had a chance to use it yet. The air compressor in this kit is quiet and gets the job done.

The airbrush kit is great. Everything works fine. I would not have bought single stage had I known dual stage was so easy and intuitive to use... Well worth the money and a great way to get into airbrushing.

    • I use it for illustration and fine art
I purchased this kit for mixed media fine art/illustration. I am not an expert or highly trained artist. I have a decent skill set, but I have to admit not a lot of experience with different tools and products. This was my first airbrush set. It came as advertised and I have already used it to create 3 large original mixed media pieces on illustration board. The compressor is a lot quieter than I expected and really does not need to be on very long to maintain the low pressures needed for this type of airbrushing. It has been maintenance free and very reliable. Although the kit comes with 3 airbrushes, I only use the dual action gravity feed one. I must have the control of dual action for the type of detail and small area work I am using the airbrush for. The brush works well distributing pigment. My only two gripes (and preface this with I have nothing else to compare this against): The airbrush does not seem to offer the fine line precision that I thought it would. When you get in close to do smaller lines and fine details, it seems to want to oversaturate the paint to the point of overspray. This could be entirely user error on my point due to my limited experience, but it does not seem to be quite as precise as I have seen from instructional videos on Youtube. I am still trying to figure it out, but I find that I have to be extra careful in smaller/tighter areas. Second gripe is that it tends to need a lot of cleaning during jobs to keep from clogging and splattering paint. Especially when I use the thicker opaque paints. I mostly use the transparent paints, which don't clog as much, but I find that I still have to break it down every 20 minutes or so to clear the paint out of the tube and clean the needle. It mucks up pretty fast. However, I hear this is a common occurrence in the world of airbrushing and cleaning the device is not troublesome at all. It just is not any fun and takes you away from your projects. Overall I recommend this product and it has helped take my artwork to a new level. ... show more

    • This is a great value package . I love it and I have brought 1 pattern off amazon . Just to learn how to do my own patterns .
Real nice set up . Compressor is so much better then I thought it would be . Get the paper for this , you'll be using it a lot . Also get the heat cutter and at least 1 per cut paddlers , which will help you to learn to cut your own paddlers . Get a good heat pen and acetate . You'll need both to practice . Great fun and I made a few paddlers for family and friends and since I had it just about made my money back . I don't charge people just give me a few bucks so I won't stop .lol ... show more

    • Nice kit but came with damaged model S68 airbrush.
I purchased this to do painting of RC car and truck bodies. It came as depicted. I originally only used the Model G22 airbrush and it works just fine. I needed to use a larger capacity for painting more area so I broke out the model S68 and got it set up. What I found was that the air fitting on the bottom of it was stripped out and it looked like someone had used pliars to remove it a one point in time. It cannot be used because the air fitting won't tighten or stay in the gun. This was sold as "new" but I believe that this S68 model was used and damaged. I will be contacting the seller for an exchange or refund. Other than this, I am happy with this kit. ... show more

First time trying air brush art and i love it! The gravity fed brush does clog up when used for extended sessions. Would also recommend getting the kit with the air tank if you plan on doing bigger projects. Will most definitely need a cleaning kit to go with this.
