  • They’re great products and I got them real fast
These are real motorcraft spark plugs, not fake. The ignition coils are great

  • Great product for the price and OEM
I was really happy with these I bought them for a friend I made a mistake and bought the wrong ones the first time they had an angle to him. So make sure you get check yours before you order make sure you got the right ones. This was for a 2005 Explorer with the V8. Really nice plugs you don't have to Gap them they're kind of a special plug I've never seen before. Must buy if you need to replace yours. ... show more

  • Not Motorcraft Coils, cheap coils.
Okay I fell for the wording. The coil packs are not Motorcraft, just some cheap off brand coil packs, which are junk. I installed these coil packs and after 523 miles I had a failure (miss) in cylinder 8. I swapped out the old coil pack (Motorcraft), onto that cylinder and works fine. After 712 miles cylinder 1 gave out, miss. Again, placed the old one back on and it works fine. Then at 768 miles cylinder 3 failed (miss) place all the old packs back on and went up to 1817 miles without another issue (and still going). Plugs were great and only bought this kit since I was doing the work as I was changing plugs any which way so decided to hit 2 birds with 1 stone with changing the coil packs. I will never buy these coils again MAS (doesn't matter what color cap it has on them). Lesson learned for going cheap. 2007 Ford Explorer 4x4 with V8 (4.6 liter). ... show more

I had a noticeable misfire between 45-55mph while in OD, and suspected a faulty coil...well, the dealer diagnostic runs at least $99 to tell you which one is bad. This entire package cost $134 for all new coils AND plugs...all from Motorcraft...do the math. I changed all of these out the first time four years ago (at 120k miles) and had a heck of a time, took almost a day and a half. Had to go very slowly and use PB blaster to break the plugs free from their threads without breaking any. Did fine, got all eight out without breaking. This time was much easier, took just a couple hours overall. If you have a small mirror and flashlight, compressed air (to blow out debris), a vacuum (also to remove debris), and basic mechanic tools you can do this. This IS the new version of the plugs that is less susceptible to breaking. My truck is at 163k and running smooth as a baby's bottom. Be sure to use some anti-seize compound on the threads to make the job easier next time (it did for me), the experts on the forums recommend a nickel-based formula. It's also recommended that you clean the engine internals as much as possible by running one or two tanks worth of Techron through the system before attempting this job. ... show more
