We’ve been using MaryRuth’s Organic Toddler Multivitamin Drops for a while now, and after a brief detour into gummy vitamin territory, we are firmly back and not looking back. Why We Love It The ingredient list is what hooked me first. USDA Organic, completely sugar-free, sweetened only with organic stevia, and a genuinely clean formula: vitamins A, C, D3, E, and B complex, plus zinc and choline — all the bases you want covered for a toddler. No fillers, no artificial anything. For parents who care about what goes into their kids’ bodies, this one checks every box. Gummies Are Not Worth It We switched to gummies briefly because they seemed easier and more exciting for our 2.5-year-old. Then his dentist flagged them — the sticky consistency clings to teeth and is genuinely problematic for little ones who can’t brush perfectly. We went right back to the drops. If your child’s dentist hasn’t brought this up yet: gummies and toddler teeth are not a great combination. The Taste Passes the Toddler Test The orange-vanilla flavor is mild and pleasant — not artificially sweet or overwhelming. We started by mixing the 2mL daily dose into his water, which worked great. Now he just opens his mouth and asks for it straight from the dropper. I’m careful to never let the dropper actually touch his mouth to keep the bottle from getting contaminated — easy enough to manage. The fact that a toddler voluntarily requests his vitamins every day says everything. Bottom Line If you’re weighing drops vs. gummies for a young child, I’d strongly encourage drops — both for dental health and ingredient quality. MaryRuth’s has made that an easy choice. Clean label, no sugar, organic, and toddler-approved. We keep a backup bottle on hand so we never run out.

I love how clean the ingredients are in this vitamin, which is a big deal for me when it comes to my toddler. It’s a liquid, which makes it much easier than gummies or chewables, and I can mix it into juice if needed. The taste is mild enough that my toddler doesn’t fight it, which is honestly half the battle.
