  • Great Christmas gift
Son loves it, sturdy. Plus got price adjustment

  • Thanos did nothing wrong and this gauntlet is great!
This was a gift for my 7 year old son and although this is a gigantic gauntlet made to fit an adult sized hand, he absolutely loves it, even using it as a prop for his phone. Although this is on the expensive side for a toy, I believe the quality is worth it if you're a fan of the series. Inside the glove are finger loops that are used to control the fingers and thumb. These are difficult for younger kids to operate because there's a bar that you would normally rest your palm on while operating the fingers, its just a bit too far for small hands to reach, but it can be done with some maneuvering. It also produces some sounds when you press the mind stone (the large yellow stone over the back of the hand), and all of the stones will light up and its decently bright. I was a little disappointed that the other individual stones do not produce their own sounds (they can't be pressed) since this is a very premium toy, but nothing worth getting too upset over. It's already survived several hard falls and drops but is not showing any signs of damage, which is rare since we destroy a lot of toys. If your kids like Thanos like mine do you can't go wrong with this. ... show more

  • Give Someone the Cosmic Middle Finger
This thing is great. Details are fantastic, the lights are super bright, the sounds are clear and loud. It is MASSIVE, and that may actually be one of the slight drawbacks. My hands are incredibly average in size, and it's a tad uncomfortable for me to be able to grip the bar on the inside, and fit all of my fingers through the control rings. Well, I should say I really only have difficulty with the thumb. Not really an issue if you're mainly just going to display it and maybe play around with it from time to time. If you're going to use this as a part of a costume or anything, you might want to bear that in mind. The only other drawback that I can think of for me personally is that it'd be nice if they had thrown in a way to disable the Auto-On for the sound whenever you articulate the fingers, or maybe just a lights-only mode. I know it has a "Display Mode" where the lights will stay on for up to an hour, and the sounds are great and all, but sometimes they can be a little much if you're just messing around with it. Unless there's something I'm missing, you have to take out the batteries if you want to use it without sound. But then you lose the lights as well. ... show more

  • At last! The Elusive Gauntlet Is Mine!
Ever since this product was first announced months ago, I've been on my own personal little Infinity-Quest to own one of these toys. No sooner would an initial batch be made available at the going retail price ($99.00) they would sell-out within a few days and then the avaricious 3rd-party sellers would swoop-in with their outrageous mark-ups of double and triple the price while essentially making the product financially unattainable for a majority of potential buyers. Luckily, my patience finally paid-off and I managed to secure one directly from Amazon at the regular retail-price. Purely as a stand-alone display piece, this is a quality looking plastic replica. It's surprisingly bright with the lights out and while the finger-mechanisms take a few seconds of practice to get use to, one can mimic most common hand/finger configurations easily enough. I will say that the hand-bar inside of the glove can make the palm of your own hand a bit sore after too-much activity but, that is a very minor negative. Sideshow Collectibles will soon be producing a museum-quality prop gauntlet for nearly $1,000. Since few people can justify such an indulgence, this Hasbro Infinity-Gauntlet is the very next best thing and should more than satisfy the cosmic desires of super-hero geeks of all ages! ;-) ... show more

  • There's a way to tweak the gauntlet so it fits better!!!
Unboxing the gauntlet felt like getting another gift from my childhood similar to when I opened the SNES Mini!!! Everything from the detail, weight, lights and sounds made purchasing the Infinity Gauntlet well worth the $100 price tag. However wearing the gauntlet and moving all the fingers especially the pinky and thumb proved to be difficult and painful. So I decided to customize it which I did by taking out the 10 or so screws that were holding the gauntlet together and removed the top half of the grip bar. I then wrapped the bottom half with cloth and tape. The adjusted grip bar was now slimmer and provided me the additional room needed to both hold the bar and work all the finger levers. Now both our daughter and I can wield the most powerful weapon in the Marvel Universe without pain!!! If the stones were magnetic so they could be removed and if it had the option to mute the booming sound effects yet still work the fingers that would have made this perfect! But it is still a RIDICULOUSLY AWESOME item to have and I will be wearing it to the Infinity War premier...WAKANDA FOREVER!!! ... show more

  • I'll do it myself
I had been expecting this to be one of the 2018 Marvel Legends releases and though it came earlier than expected it did not surprise me in the least when the listing appeared on Amazon. This thing is huge and highly detailed. It has lights and sounds which I'm assuming are accurate. I love it, this will probably be my final Marvel piece. The only downsides come with this being what it is... A big plastic fist: the joints and screw holes take away from this feeling like a legit prop replica. They hid them very well with Iron Man's helmet and Cap's shield, but those are very different items and it's much easier to disguise them in those scenarios. I'm also not in love with the look of the Infinity Stones, but this is still the best gauntlet in this price range. Being able to tap the mind gem for short term lights and sounds or long press it for a much longer display time is great, as is being able to lock the fingers by using the switch. Battery placement is fine (different parts of the listing say that it takes AA or AAA batteries, it's AA). If you're looking for an Infinity Gauntlet this is the one to get, but don't pay more than retail. ... show more
