We absolutely love this entertainment center. It was a bit harder to assemble than we were thinking it would be, because some of the pieces were not lining up. We definitely needed a mallet. I don't see how one person could assemble it alone. Aside from that, it's perfect. It's solid, and I love the color. The openings through the glass door windows are perfect for receiving our stereo and TV electronics remotes, without needing to open the doors. Sooooo happy!! ... show more

First, let me say that I only dinged one star because the piece didn’t arrive absolutely perfectly. There is a small crack at the front of the top that I will need to repair (maybe) and touch up with paint. Not really a problem, but it doesn’t deserve a perfect rating. The only other “bad” thing is that we had some trouble locking some of the connections. But, it is together and solid; we don’t think there will be any issues in the future. Other than the locking issue, this was a breeze to put together! Seriously! It does need two people, because of the heaviness of the piece and to guard against damage. And, we did not use the screws to secure the shelves to the shelf supports. There is really no reason to, and this makes it easier to change the shelf positions if we choose to. I ordered this piece for our tiny living room initially because it matches our dining chairs and our barstools, which match each other but are not from the same maker. I love that I can have matching things that aren’t exactly the same. It helps pull all three rooms together. While it is larger than our previous black TV shelf, it somehow makes the whole room look larger. It is amazing. Would I order it again? Yes!!! ... show more

We had already ordered the end table and knew it was a nice and sturdy piece. There are gaskets(?) that you put around the glass, but they will slip out, and the glass could fall. The doors are hard to pull open. Maybe the more we open them, the hardware will work better. Also, the open slots on the back side so you can put cords through are pretty big. The slots allow a lot of light, which is fine if you want to show off your interior dishes or other items. We cover them as we don't have any cords going out the back. ... show more

I had ordered this TV Stand back in February and it delivered the first weekend in March. I was super excited about it until I saw what UPS had left outside my house — a box so damaged I could see the color of the stand from the street. Unfortunately, every portion of the cabinet was damaged and I had to contact Amazon for a replacement. The customer service representative I worked with was quick to get a replacement ordered for me. The replacement delivered yesterday and I was able to put it together today. It showed up in a perfect box, went through several Amazon warehouses before it came to me, and was delivered by Amazon themselves. I just received it yesterday, and I love it! The delivery and packaging were well done. It was delivered right to my front door, and was in perfect condition. It does take two people to it it together because you have to line everything up just right so that everything connects correctly. We use a rubber mallet to get some pieces to slide down all the way. As someone else mentioned, leave the doors open while attaching the top. I feel that this piece is a good buy due to the quality and overall design. ... show more

This would get 5 starts but it was missing some parts, such as the rings that go on the cabinet handles and the pieces that allow the shelves to sit. But overall very sturdy and beautiful. Sucks that we have to go to Lowe’s to get what’s missing.
