I was nervous to order this online,but I am so glad that we did. We had been looking for a while for a new stand. It was pretty easy for my husband to assemble. It was missing some hardware, but after contacting the company, they did send the missing parts. That was a bit of a hassle, because it was partially assembled, and we had to wait for the remaining parts. However, I understand that accidents happen once in awhile. The quality is excellent. It is very sturdy and really nice looking too. The top is a smoky dark grey; almost borders on black. The white is a soft rich white, not a bright white. I am so pleased with the the large TV stand from Martin Svensson. I ordered the expresso color. It is very thick, good quality furniture. It was so easy to put together. It took less than an hour. The style is so unique. I have had nothing but compliments from my family and friends. The delivery through Amazon was so easy and the delivery staff from Amazon is the best!!! The instructions for this cabinet say "Two people 10 minutes" Okay since we had to read the instructions it took us 20 minutes but I am sure we could put it together again in 10 minutes. It says you may need a screw driver but that is only if you want to screw the shelf boards from moving. Absolutely easy, amazing assembly and the cabinet is beautiful and very sturdy. There was a long crack on the top of the cabinet but I called them and they replaced it within a week, no questions asked. I would recommend Martin Svensson cabinets to everyone. When I unboxed the item and was ready to assemble I noticed that the exterior right side panel had a different paint color and finish than the other parts of the TV stand. It was a darker gray and it was gloss while the rest of the parts were a lighter gray and matte. It was a nightmare to box the item again in order to return. I would not recommend this item to anyone due to the lack of quality. The paint issue is something that could have been easily noticed if there were any inspections. ... show more

This TV console is very heavy and sturdy. It was a bit difficult to assemble, as my engineer boyfriend said it would need an engineering team to get through it. He assembled in about an hour. The color is very much more of a creamy white- picking up more of a yellow undertone. Definitely not white, If that’s the look you’re going for, it’s not a bright white at all. And it is very rustic in appearance. It was shipped with some flaws and Amazon refunded us 25% because there was no way we were packing this beast back up and waiting with hopes of another one to arrive soon and without flaws. There are several cracks and marks on the front that I will attempt to fix with wood fill and touch up paint. Disappointing that the cracks and chips of paint missing are front and center. I attached pics. From a distance, not noticeable. Also, the doors need pushed hard to shut. They are tight in the corners! Overall, and for an Amazon purchase, it’s a solid sturdy TV console that will last for years. And it flows with our casual cottage feel in our home. ... show more
