  • Unfortunately this was a huge disappointment
Color: Espresso
I don't know where to start. I'm literally on the verge of tears. Not sure if it was the seller or Amazon but took almost 2 weeks to arrive. Was supposed to be 2 day shipping. As the reviews mentioned, boxes very very heavy so I had a hard time getting it into the house. I can't imagine someone being lucky enough to assemble in 10 minutes, this literally has taken me hours and I'm still not finished. I have assembled so many pieces of furniture even larger and heavier than this by myself. Many pieces do not align and it's very frustrating. Very very very frustrating! Sweating cussing hurt myself and can't say enough I will never buy anything from this company ever again. I am blown away. Things literally do not line up I use WD-40 I use a rubber mallet and things are still off. Very frustrating also I haven't worked since March so this was a lot of money for me. there is even a help phone number on the "manual" included and i called & they said someone would call me back, still waiting days later.Pretty darn frustrated cuz I've been waiting for this piece and thought it was so pretty. Such a disappointment. ... show more

  • 65 Inch Antique White TV Stand
Color: Antique White
This stand is very nice, easy to assemble, the only issue was the slide latches which were tight so a little lubricant and pressure did the job, I did not pound on the unit just body weight and downward pressure. Put together my self in about an hour. It took longer to unpack. It is sturdy, not a light weight. Received with no damage and complete hardware.Color is cream antique white with a nice distressed look. 50 inch TV on top. Very satisfied. ... show more

  • Lightning Fast Assembly... needs work, but nice unit.
Color: Espresso
I assembled this beauty today (been sitting in the garage in a box since May) and found the "Lightning Fast Assembly" to be a little troublesome. I couldn't convince the parts to slide, so I went back to the garage, grabbed a can of WD40 and a rubber mallet. With some lubrication and some mild pounding, they cooperated. That said, I like the assembly method overall. Much nicer than the usual cam-lock nonsense. I did not screw the middle shelves in, nor did I add the "anti-toppling" gear. There are no children in this house, and this is definitely a low-center-of-gravity unit anyways. I doubt I could even topple it. Tomorrow, the gear gets moved over to it finally. Very nice unit, seems to be solid wood (not sure what species - something native to Vietnam would be my guess). The packaging was surprisingly solid (and too heavy for one person to handle well unless you're quite strong). I had to open the box downstairs and carry all the pieces up to the master bedroom for assembly as I did not have a helper around today. Tomorrow I'll clean up the mess of wrapping foam and styrofoam. I'm too tired. ... show more

  • Beautiful tv stand
Color: Grey
Love, love, love this tv stand. Exactly what I wanted. I read a lot of the reviews before buying, and was worried about items being scratched. Several shelves were scratched, but they are inside so you don’t see them. Everything else that is on the outside was perfectly normal. I have to say I’ve put a lot of furniture together over the years, and this was a different kind of piece. The whole front is one piece, and the whole back is one piece. The shelves are just a drop in, so they were easy. As you can see in the pic, it fits our 65” just fine. ... show more

  • Sturdy and attractive. Highly recommend.
Color: Antique White
I hate MDF, especially since companies are now trying to dupe customers be referring to "manufactured wood" as simply "wood." Let the buyer beware, as many companies have zero scruples about their advertising. I'm done with my rant. This stand is very well built, with none of that glued wood dust covered by a veneer. The only non-wood I found was the top. I don't know what to call that material, but it is sturdy, heavy, and hard, resistant to scratching or denting. It looks great and we get many compliments on it. It was assembled by a friend who is a carpenter. Assembly includes a step in which you attach 2 pieces via a locking mechanism. It was about impossible to do by hand, but he quickly got a rubber mallet and that got the job done quickly. ... show more

  • Decent product
Color: Grey
Pros - easy to assemble with two people (if at least one of you is handy and patient), table top seems to be solid wood (or is convincing), LOVE the authentic-looking rustic hand-scraped texture top/door and sides, seems sturdy. TONS of storage- we fit our extensive 3-row deep, two shelf DVD collection into the left cabinet ONLY! The cabinet doors and their hardware come pre-installed which is nice. CONS - Pretty sure the back, separating panels, shelf inserts are all particle board. The only parts that (might be) real wood (and probably pine, at that) are the top, sides and frame of the front. Overall not worth the $430 we paid; and I can’t BELIEVE anyone would pay more than that for this piece of furniture but it seems a mid-quality piece that you’d expect to find at a typical furniture store. Furniture that is 100% solid wood is rare to find; so I guess I should’ve expected as much. ... show more

  • It was awful to put together but it looks so good
Color: Grey
I like to think I am fairly handy when it comes to putting things together -- this was easily the most frustrating thing I have ever put together. I was about to give up and I remembered reading the reviews and someone mentioning lubing the pieces together to help them slide into place. I tried that and helped a little but I ended up still unable to snap them all into place. I had to stand the thing half put together put some books under so it was sturdier on the parts where there aren't legs and I could bang it with a rubber mallet into place. I banged as hard as I could because I was so frustrated after a few hours of attempting that I was ready to try and ship that big ol' box back. Also note, that I could tell right away that the "female" parts of the snapping were put too far into the wood but they are super glued to the wood (I removed the screws to fix that first but you can't get them out.) Okay so that was the nightmare part of this, once you put it together it looks sharp. Hides the cables well and it doesn't feel cheap at all. Would I do it again? Probably, I think with what I learned I could cut the time from 4 hours to maybe 1? Just know that it will be frustrating even if you are handy! ... show more
