I originally found this bookcase on Wayfair and it was a lot more money. I thought I would try Amazon. I found it immediately and ordered it. I’m thrilled. This is a gorgeous piece of furniture. It is real wood and heavy! It came packed extremely well.

1. It's not real wood some parts are then you knock on the back and you know it's not. For this price i expected a lot more. This guy shouldn't have his own line of furniture. It's feels like it's got a weird plastic film on it with the false tree rings look. Strong wood smell maybe the scent is why it's this much. 2. It's got those fake knodges like as if it's been previously scratched ( what a biter this martin comp) might as well add Live Love Laugh. I would of liked to put my own life lived scratches on a pristine furniture but this fake wood fake scratches furniture should feed a bon fire. 3. Service delivery is real bad. This thing is 180 pounds and theres 0 help. 3 large men brought it to my door didn't even ring the doorbell. They drop it off outside 7pm. 4. It's nice for a basics/Starbuck chick but not one I'd pass down generations. ... show more

Beautiful bookcase for the price. My only concern is that the delivery people were in a rush and just basically dropped it and took off as fast as they could. I asked them to help me unpack, but they said that they don’t get paid for that. When my son returned home, he was able to help me unpack the box, and the lower shelf was damaged significantly, which I suspect is from poor delivery. Otherwise, I would recommend this piece of furniture ... show more

The bookcase is high quality and Cymax went above an beyond to make sure the item arrived in good condition. Originally the item was running a bit late but Cymax personally interacted with the carrier and with myself and made sure the item arrived. Purchased, delivered and I just knew it would be damaged. Worst delivery service hired that you can hear things bounce in the truck while backing up the truck. Looked inside the damaged boxes....NOT real wood, peeling MDF wrapped in plywood? Maybe. 16 days later still waiting for a refund . Purchased 2. Don't get it from Amazon. ... show more

I love these but was pretty bummed when they came pretty damaged…back board popped off and split and bottom feet broken off —-we had to get them up so I couldn’t request a return.
