We bought two of these sheet sets in the gray gingham fabric for our kids’ room when I saw them go on sale for half-price. I was nervous about the higher price tag since I didn’t know what the quality of the set would be, which is why I waited to purchase. After purchasing on sale, I do think the quality is worth the full-price cost, though I’d, of course, prefer to get it on sale if we were to purchase again. Upon opening the sheet set, I was very happy with the quality of the fabric, which was smooth, soft, and cool to the touch. The seams are sturdy and don’t seem to bulge when placed on 12” thick twin mattresses. We’ve washed the sheets a couple of times so far and the fabric has continued to remain a great quality. There has been no pilling so far and it’s still soft and smooth to the touch. It doesn’t appear very wrinkled when removing from the dryer as well, though our family doesn’t mind wrinkles for bedding. The fabric did shrink very slightly after drying, but not enough to make a difference when placing it on the mattress. It still fits perfectly. I highly recommend this set!

For a 210 thread count sheet, these are not bad. After the 400 thread count sateen sheets I'd had from California Design Den, though, these leave a lot to be desired. PROS: the yellow is a cheerful, creamy yellow; bright without being saturated like a Crayola primary color crayon; mild enough to give a gentle splash of color to a mostly neutral room. The weave is light and airy, all the seams and threads survived the first wash, and there was a normal amount of lint after drying. The texture is comfortable and the sheets seem to breathe well. CONS: these are not 1000, 800, or even 400 thread count. They are 210. So they're a lighter-weight sheet. My old sheets (see above), I could hold up to the window and see nothing through them. These, I can hold up to the window and see the objects that are setting on the windowsill. They're listed as sateen, but they are not. They are percale, which lacks the satiny smoothness of sateen. That said, they're not rough at all; just not silky smooth. Feel like a well-worn oxford shirt, only thinner. I'll be curious to see how they hold up over time. The main reason I got them was for their color; California Design Den discontinued their mellow gold color, which is what I wanted, and I am 100% pleased with the color.

I searched high and low for 100% cotton sheets for my toddler’s bed, because what he sleeps on matters to me. At first these seemed kind of rough textured, but even after just one wash they felt thick and luxurious. I feel like my toddler sleeps well on them, they fit perfectly, and haven’t come off. For the price too you can’t beat it! Highly recommend!

Great quality and great price. I don’t like microfiber or polyester sheets because they are hot. These are cool cotton. I like the color. They fit my mattress and come with the tag that tells you the top or bottom for ease of use . They washed well. I like the weight of the sheet not too thin. I sleep well on these sheets.

I got this sheet set on a Black Friday deal. At the time there were lots of deals going on and I was torn between buying this sheet set and others that were highly rated and in the same price range, but made from microfiber. I was concerned initially because of the low thread count and some reviews saying that the sheets are scratchy. Then I did some research and decided to go with this sheet set and I think I made the right decision. It's important to realize that thread count isn't everything. These sheets are 100% cotton and from a reputable manufacturer. The thread count is lower than some of the more premium sets, but it's still 100% cotton and that's better than microfiber or polyester blended sets. Cotton is a natural fiber and it breathes better than synthetic fibers. It doesn't retain heat as much as microfiber and so it's better for warm sleepers. It gets softer with each wash. A lot of people are aiming for that hotel sheet feel and so they're aiming for a high thread count but what they don't realize is that it's not really a threat count that makes hotel sheets feel the way they do, it's the constant washing and the starch they use. These cotton sheets might not feel quite as smooth at first but they will improve with time and they will last longer. The microfiber sheets might start off feeling softer, but it won't last. The microfiber degrades with each wash while the cotton improves with each wash. I've been using this sheet set for a couple of months now and I'm absolutely pleased with my purchase and I'm confident I made the right decision.
