This is a pretty nice desk if you can buy at a discount. The top is made in 2 pieces that split in the middle long ways. And the light load limit 100lbs (I did not test this I was concerned it would damage the mechanism) would prevent me from getting this for a school age child. The media could not be loaded. Very well made and what made it such a great desk was it could be adjusted moving up & down to your desired levels by just plugging it in and press the buttons then it will descent and ascend, the highest it could goes I think about 5’ and lowest about 3’, just love the price of it on Amazon and setting up was quite relaxing and easy, just handle it with care and you will have this beautiful desk to be used for long time. ... show more

    • Need Screwdriver Weight inaccurate.

Concerns and tips. Weight limit is not accurate. It seems ok quality. But the lack of a small cheap screwdriver really made the whole assembly cumbersome as I had to leave and buy one. Also the desktop is two pieces that don't seem very sturdy. Needed Philipshead screwdriver not included. Most furniture like this includes a cheap screwdriver. But you will need to purchase if you don't have one already. The weight limit on here says 170 but instructions say 110. You may want to use some wood glue on the dowels for the desktop. I did and I think it helps it to be more sturdy. :) ... show more
