Purchased the desk when it was on sale. Assembly was easy, they provide extra parts just in case you lose some and instructions were very clear with plenty of pictures. Did not like that you had to put 2 pieces together to make the actual desktop, mainly because the holes did not align properly! So when assembling and putting the brackets to hold the 2 pieces together, it did not line up. However when final assembly was complete, it’s not too noticeable. Most adjustable desks in the market run at least $180 so this was perfect for the price point. I didn’t have the highest expectations. Love that it has the memory setting for seated and standing positions, it’s my favorite part. Only had the desk for a couple of days so we will see how it goes for longevity. This was pretty easy to put together. I appreciated having extra parts when done. Some of the screws that came with this did not have the philips head stamped out and was a blank screw, but there was plenty of extras. The instructions are pretty decent that come with the desk and way better than some other companies assembly instructions. Decent value for the money. ... show more

I’m giving this four stars because we ultimately got it together but one star for ease. First, my husband puts together office tables and chairs for a living. He said this was one of the worst assemblies he’s dealt with. Basically the holes on one side of the table did not line up. He had to machine the holes to get the large screws to go in properly. For most people, I think this would have been a return because most people don’t have the tools needed to fix this issue. But he was able to fix it and it works properly. Very quiet motor and smooth operation. My husband said he likes how high the table goes, apparently it has the capability to go higher than other sit stand desks. Also the function panel control is different too; it functions like a car window. When you press up or down, it’ll continue moving in that direction til you hit the opposite arrow to stop it. Kinda nice so you don’t have to keep your finger on the button. ... show more

I can raise it to standing level and do some leg movements with ankle weights. The desk is also wide enough to use above my recumbent bike under it. The desk rises and lowers smoothly. Working from home, I find myself sitting in front of my desk for long periods of time. Despite having a reasonable chair with separate height adjustable arms, it is still not the best for me. There are many benefits of using a Standing Desk, including: burning extra calories, posture improvement, wrist position/alignment, better circulation amongst others. While I don't intend to stand all of the time, I think mixing it up will definitely be beneficial. The prices for these desks vary quite a bit. My son bought one of the expensive ones and it has the same features as this one, (which costs about a quarter as much). The assembly was okay, (quite a few bolts and screws). The main portion with the motor attached came pre-assembled. I got the Black one and find that it looks quite nice. It has a minimalist look about it. I will have to get used to not having the desktop storage that I had with my old, large, clunky desk. The motor is quiet and does a good job of raising and lowering the desktop, (48"W by 24"D). It comes with some cable management and a useful hook as well. The memory function is a must. The top does come in two separate pieces, (24" by 24"). I had assumed that the top would be one single piece. Overall, I find this to be good for my purposes and can recommend it, (as long as you don't mind the top not being one piece).
