The Marsail Electric Standing Desk is an excellent choice for anyone looking to upgrade their home office or gaming setup. The 48 x 30-inch one-piece desktop provides plenty of space for a monitor, laptop, keyboard, and accessories, while still looking sleek and modern. The deeper tabletop design is especially nice if you like having a bit of extra workspace. The desk came very well-packaged — all the pieces were securely wrapped and protected, with no scratches or damage upon arrival. You can tell a lot of care went into the packaging and overall presentation. Once assembled, the desk feels solid and stable, even when fully extended. The electric lift system is smooth and quiet, and the 4 memory presets make it easy to switch between sitting and standing positions throughout the day with just a button press. That said, the installation was a little tricky because the parts weren’t numbered or labeled. I had to rely on the pictures in the manual to figure out which piece went where. It wasn’t impossible to assemble, but it definitely took longer than expected — labeling would have made the process much smoother. Once it’s set up, though, it’s a really good, functional desk for the price. It looks great, works efficiently, and feels durable enough for daily use. The electric height adjustment is reliable, and the overall design fits perfectly in a home office or gaming space. Overall, this Marsail desk offers great value, quality construction, and thoughtful features. If you don’t mind spending a little extra time on assembly, it’s a fantastic investment for anyone looking for an affordable standing desk that performs like a premium one. ... show more

Easy to build and has the full range of height. I was worried this might not go low enough, but it can and does. Its solid too. Quite happy with this purchase so far. In hindsight I wish I had gotten the longer 60" table rather than the 48".

This table goes up and down at the push of a button with great height adjsutment from 28 to about 39 inches in height. So every half hour or so, I raise the desk up to a standing height and give my back a rest! Here's why... A study I read showed the fluid pressure in your spine is 3-4 times higher in the sitting position as compared to standing -- ouch! So I set an alarm every 30 minutes to remind me to set the desk up to a comfortable standing level. That's why it's called a "Standing Desk"! It travels up quietly in only a few seconds and has 4 different height adjustments kept in memory which you set -- just pust a button. This allows me to keep working either on the laptop or with paper and helps prevent my back pain from flaring too much. I wish I had this desk years ago! It's sturdy and it's high quality motor with worm-gear height adjustment brings it back to the same height every time. It took me the better part of 3 hours to put this together -- so I wouldn't give it high marks for ease of assembly! Although, my next one would go much quicker. The pictures show what I faced right after I opened the box. This unit comes in 2 boxes: one for the desk top and one for all the other parts. The desk top is packed VERY WELL and surrounded by cushiony plastic foam and the corners are protected from most drops from the delivery guy -- it's heavy too. The desktop has a woodgrained appearance which has a slight texture to it. The many mounting holes are pre-drilled on the underside, but difficult to see (see photo close-up). I recommend circling the holes with a sharpie pen so you can find them during assembly -- they won't show after assembly. Also, I put all the small parts and screws of various sizes into the cups of a cupcake tin to help my wife find the parts to hand me. Picture is a little dark but I dont have much lighting in the room I put my desk into. I have the 55x30 size desk which replaced a 48x20ish desk. I like the extra deep desk space. As a tall person, its nice not smashing my feet into the wall. Quality seems good with the possible exception of the power strip holder - its flimsy sheet metal and they warn about being careful not to cut yourself on it. The only other complaint would be the instructions. While they are detailed for each step, they dont list the screws by letter. Each section of screws.or other items are labeled with A,B, C etc but you have to guess when assembling which was annoying. I figured it out though. It also says throughout that the desk top itself is not included - obviously it was. They are reusing the stand and pairing it with a too. All the holes aligned though so you can ignore requirements for drilling. Height adjustment is pretty typical for the controls for all the ones I've used in the past. I was able.to assemble.on my own own including flipping it upright. Im 6'2" / 200lbs though so shorter / less strong people might need help. It all functions as it should, is like the single piece top vs my old two piece one. The feet on the bottom of the leg seem to be a universal size. I swapped wheels onto mine from my old desk. If you do that too just know it may not be covered by the warranty and/or compromise how much weight it supports. Oh, the motor is quicker than my old one but a little bit noisier.
