    • Easy to assemble and a great space saver
First, I want to say that one of the very pleasing things about this desk was how easy it was to put together. It took me about 45 minutes to an hour to assemble. The only tool needed that it did not come with is a Phillips screwdriver. I chose to use a Phillips bit and drill. The instructions for putting this together are absolutely outstanding! They are step-by-step with pictures and no steps we're skipped and I didn't find myself trying to guess where pieces of the desk went. Now I will say one thing and that is when your first opening up the box, if you're wondering where the legs and the assembly pieces are, just be aware that they are in the back of the desk. When I first opened the box, I was like, wait a minute, I see the desk top but where are the other pieces? Once I looked in the back of the desk I noticed that they were hidden in a box there. In my opinion, this is a genius way of shipping this as well because it reduces damage to the metal pieces and hardware. The thing I like most about this desk is that it can be see get to be really tall, or really short. I'm 5'10, and when this desk is at its max height, I can say that I actually wouldn't want it to be any higher. I can actually lower it a couple inches from its max height, and it's still at the perfect height for me standing. The way the legs are built on this desk, they just make sense. The reason I say that is because I can easily slide a chair underneath his desk without hitting the legs. There's a lot of room on the top of this desk, and even when the desk is at its max height it's still sturdy and won't easily tip over. If you have an uneven surface, the legs can be adjusted on the bottom by twisting the little circular feet to a different height. I like that there are three different storage areas in this desk. The main drawer is where a majority of items can be stored. There are two sliding storage areas on each side that can also house items. I like these two sliding areas because they blend in really well and they don't even look like a storage area until you slide them open. The room that I chose to put this desk in has walls that have been freshly painted and I really didn't want the walls to get damaged when the desk moves up and down. Thankfully the desk has cushions on each side of it that allow me to put the desk close to the wall but keep the desk from scraping the sheetrock of the wall. The control panel on this desk is what adds the final touch of just really making this desk stand out. The control panel allows me to have three different settings at different height levels. I use two different height levels currently. I like the max height and the lowest height. By pushing either of these preset buttons the desk automatically raises and lowers to the height that I have preset. The motor on the desk is actually pretty whisper quiet. It can be heard but it's not an annoying sound in any way. The motor does have to be plugged into a wall outlet in order for it to work. If I choose to not use one of my preset heights, I can also use the up and down arrows on the control panel to adjust the desk to a different level. Summing up, I love that the desk stays sturdy at its max height. I also really think that this desk not only has a premium look, but was engineered to save space but be very useful. This can be seen both when looking at it and when using it. I think it's great for people that choose to work from home, but also for anyone that just needs a good desk that can be raised to a max height in order to store things underneath in the home. ... show more

Delivered largely pre-assembled. Comes with clear instructions. All I need is a Phillips screwdriver to complete the assembly in less than an hour. Even faster with an electric screwdriver or Phillips drill bit. (Note: A Phillips isn't included in the set.) Desk quality. Aesthetically pleasing sleek design with clean Zen-lines. Built with a sturdy metal frame, and a maple-color engineered wood desktop, smooth, like a thick polished butcher's block and feels just as robust. Height adjustment. Effortless motorized height adjustment with manual up and down buttons, and three customizable preset settings. The standing position definitely beats sitting at the desk. Also allows me to rest my eyes from reading. I do at least ten minutes standing for every hour at the desk. Lack of drawers, and necessary add-ons. The desk comes with one shallow drawer, and two side cubby holes with accordion style covers for keys, phones and peripherals, i.e. USB cables. More than adequate space for my 15-inch Lenovo and a slim table lamp. I added a pencil organizer inside the drawer and a free-standing desk caddy with drawers the same maple color as the desk which I set at the back of the desk. A rolling filing cabinet on the side to minimize paper clutter completes the add-ons for maximum functionality.     • At first use I was wodering...
Wondering if I made a mistake getting this table. At first I didn't like the 'storage space' under the table top. However, after a short time i am really pleased with having that space to help with desk clutter. Assembly is easy, it becomes a lot easier if one used a drill or electric screwdriver. The table fits together very well. This can be assembled by one person but it makes it a lot easier if there is another to help out. Some of the parts are heavy and once the table is assembled it is a heavy piece to move around. The ability to raise and lower is such a great feature. Sometimes it is nice to be able to stand and work on the table. However, it sure is nice to raise the table to it's highest position in order to access wires and other stuff one might have on the floor. Even the ability to have minor adjustments at working height is very helpful. The table works very well and is very attractive. Highly Recommend. ... show more
