I am a 60-year old woman, and although this is not my first indoor garden tent, I found this kit incredibly easy to set up. I had no help, and although I confess there was some salty talk and several cats got yelled at for “helping,” it took me under an hour from unboxing to indoor growing. The tent is nice and heavyweight, there are adequate ports for cords, and it tucks nicely into the corner of my guest room where it is out of sight. I use zip ties to hang the fan, not the included ropes, and honestly think zip ties are faster and easier. For me the hardest part was wiggling the ducting on to the filter and clamping it. But I got it done (no thanks to my cat). The fan is very quiet. The light spans the entire width of the tent and most of the depth. I started my plants outdoors in the blazing hot southern sun. So I went straight to 100% light and 18/6 for the timer. Get this kit if you want to grow a couple of plants—but understand this is just a tool. Great for 1-2 plants.Easy to set up.Easy to maintain however the clip on fan doesn't work as well as it should and is rotation is stopped by tent and will stop moving.Other than that it is a very good unit at a good price

The media could not be loaded. I enjoyed how easy this box was to setup, was very quick and lights are amazing can’t wait to see what type of yields I get from this box, I didn’t like there the instructions weren’t very helpful but playing around with how I had it setup I was able to come up w/ my own setup that works well for my purposes. As a starter box I would highly recommend this box for anyone looking for something bigger than most starter boxes but not something that requires tremendous room. I was under the impression that this was a "smart" grow system and everything could be monitored through your phone with Mars Hydro app. Only the light has "smart" technology. The exhaust fan and temperature/humidity gauge are not. That being said, the system works well and my first time grow is doing fantastic using the old school technology of self monitoring and manual fine tuning the equipment by hand. I didn't even bother to use the Mars Hydro app. The tent is well made, good zipper and no light leaks. The exhaust fan and light are very good quality. The exhaust fan is fairly quiet and there is little to no smell outside the tent. The light is the star in this set up, super good quality and my plants are flourishing under it. Would've been nice if they included an oscillating circulation fan as this is a must have item, which I've seen included in other kits. ... show more

Durable material easy set up. App is ok it will change the light brightness but that’s it I wish it did it automatic like some other brands high humidity it turns fan up or too much heat. But overall it’s good enough for now

Bought this kit back in early may to start off my plants as the outside in the East coast never seems stick to similar weather patterns. I put everything together only to find that I was missing two of the top poles to hang the carbon filter and better secure the lights. So I got in touch with MARS HYDRO and they were really quick to respond apologize and remeady the problem. A few days later I had everything and luckily as I started my grow outside I didn't loose my plants. Love the kit so far can't say enough how well my plants are growing for my first grow. Be careful as going to full lights too early can result in some burns to the leaves. Lights seems to be very bright and definitely can see the full spectrum aspect too.
