This is a good pair of fins for pool swimming. The pros: 1. Well made with some nice details, and light; 2. Blades are about the right length, that means the right water resistance and maneuverability. 3. Come with a nice carrying bag The cons: 1. The blades are too rigid, probably made of plastic, instead of rubber materials; 2. Sizes run small. Although I got the largest( size 11-12), they are still too tight for my size 11 feet. I like these fins, only reason down graded to 4 is hard to choose correct size after reading all reviews. I took these to Oahu and had a blast swimming in the ocean. Size is perfect for out swimming sharks (twice) as too short too give them much to grab but long enough to provide needed power. I am solid 9.5 and I went a little small with the 9s as I can't stand a loose fit. They seem true to size as they are a little snugger than I want and after a while my feet can get a little sore. One reviewer said they stretch in time so they may work out perfectly. Quite happy with them, no regrets.

I use these fins in my pool and let me tell you how effective they have proven to be in my fitness routine. I am a 57 year old woman weighing around 160-168. I am truly big boned and never will be petite, I have accepted the body I have. No matter what weight loss program or how consciencious I am of my nutrition, I have always gone back to this weight. So, I decided to firm up and tone and that's where the fins come in. I swam and did aquatic excercises but when I put the fins on...WOW!...they amplified all movements. I'm just starting out...haven't had them that long but I will keep you posted. I just mentioned to my sister today how I 'feel' the fin work I did yesterday and it wasn't a full session that I normally do. They have motivated me to persevere....I'm a mermaid!

April 2017 UPDATE - It didn't hold up. I swim a modest 12 laps a day in a swimming pool. After 14 months, one of fins cracked at the heel. Feb 2016 I swim daily at an in door pool each morning. I am size 8.5. I purchase Size 8/9. This was the right size. They fit snuggly, but comfortable. The flipper part is a bit stiff as others have mentioned, but this does not pose any problems. However, the piece holding the feet and in particular, the ankles are softer and comfortable. They are easy to put on and remove. They stay on snuggly when I swim. I bought these to get better leg exercise when I am kicking in the water. Thi is working. I think I'll take this on vacations with me also. Excellent product.

I had bought my oldest grandson a different pair of swim fins and they cracked the first time he wore them. I returned them and tried these, He really wanted orange and I found these. The quality is great and he has been wearing these every day for a few months. He has improved a lot and he is very happy with them. He has been wearing them only in the pool at the Y but when it is warmer he will be wearing them at the beach and in the ocean. I highly recommend these.

I am giving these a 4 star rating they work well and do what they are intended to, but I guess I had higher hopes they had better grip on the bottom. They make a very good training fin just a little slippery when you walk out of the water in them, but I do have to say that the rigid short fin area doesn't really get in the way of walking which is really nice and after the bottoms got scuffed up a little they seemed to have better grip..LOL

They were initially exactly what I was looking for great fit and comfort for my lap swimming. After a couple months they started fraying and the rubber edging was coming loose. I wrote to the company and they told me to contact the manufacturer Head. They gave me no other information and I thought it did not seem right since I bought it from DipNDive on amazon prime for not being more helpful. Well here is is nearly one year since I bought the fins and they are falling apart in many places. They are close to being unusable now and what good will it be to report the problem to the company I bought it from. I have always had good luck with Amazon prime helping me get proper customer service but in this case it fell through the crack. So I would not recommend buying these fins for both customer service and the products durability.

these look well made. they come with "shoe tree" to preserve heel cup when stored & thats nice. they walk easily altho head missed a chance to make sole thicker for greater impact comfort. think of these as a leg workout booster for surface swimming. they would be most inadquate as a legit propulsion fin on a real 50 ft + dive. enjoy
