This product is pretty great! It's easy enough to assemble. It holds bumper plates!!!! Rogue brand and others. I'm not using it to store a barbell but I could if I wanted to. Product is sturdy and attractive. My one complaint is the plate closest to the center of the tree (at the bottom of the peg) gets stuck, and you have to wiggle it to remove it. I placed a small 5 lb plate on the inside and that makes removing the bigger plates easier. I would recommend this product. ... show more

Garage floor went from an obstacle course to something I can walk across at night. Plates sort by size onto the pegs and the bar stands up in the middle instead of leaning in a corner. Assembly bolts want a real wrench, not the stamped one in the box. It is stable at the weight I keep on it, but I would not push the rated capacity with all the load sitting up high. ... show more

(Regarding the A Frame version) Excellent product, especially for $60. Very easy to put together, all metal frame seems very durable. The bars that hold the weight plates are actually 1 inch, with 'covers' that go over to make them 2 inches. (I don't have 1 inch plates to 100% confirm they would fit) I have 2 dumbbell bars, which perfectly fit, one in the bottom hole, and one in the top holder. The only minor negative is that the 'covers' that go over the plate bars aren't screwed on or attached in any way, they just sit there. So when you take the last plate off they can slide off with it. So it takes an extra second or a bit of extra attention. Putting a bit of glue under them would probably solve this ... show more

Sturdy quality product. Makes my home gym complete. Each peg Holds 3 45lb bumper plates, 4 35lb bumper plates 5 25lb bumper plates, and 6 10lb/15lb bumper plates. More if you use steel plates.
