The Marcy Weight Storage Organizer Rack is exactly what I needed to keep my home gym organized and clutter-free. 1. Other reviewers said the plastic adapters for Olympic Weights don't fit. They do. I have all new CAP 2" Olympic weights and they fit the plastic adapters perfectly. There must be something wrong with the other people's weight plates. 2" is 2" is 2". In addition, the idea of using plastic adapters perfect. This way I can store Standard dumbbell weights on some spindles and Olympic weights on others. 2. Sturdy. Sturdy, sturdy, sturdy. Well-designed stand, takes up minimal room and is solid as a rock. Of course put your heavier weights lower. You can make *anything* unstable if you put enough weight up high. 3. Easy to assemble. I did it alone without trouble. All parts labeled and easy to find. I had one single washer left over. 4. Matches my Golds Gym XRS 20 as if it were an accessory to that product. 5. Top rack/pan has a serious non-skid bottom. Almost like roofing. Nothing moves on it. I immediately put my grip exercisers, juggling balls, etc., on it. Love it!! 6. Plenty of room for all the dumbbells I will need. I have some fixed weight dumbbells and star-wheel dumbell handles that take standard weights. So darn nice not having to pick them up off the floor. There is not much more I can say, except to the designers and industrial engineers, and manufacturing team: Bravo!

Love it -- perfect for a smaller home gym. Easy to put together, and I currently have the following dumbbells on it: Bottom row: (2) 50's and (2) 40's. Middle row: (2) 30's and (2) 20's. Top row: (2) 15's, (2) 10's, (2) 5's, and (2) 3's So that's over 335 lbs (if my math is right) that the rack is currently supporting, and it is rock-solid and steady when taking dumbbells off, putting them back on, etc. As you can see from the pic, it can also accommodate a couple of different "styles" of weights.

This is really, good compact rack that does what it's supposed to do. Does a great job of keeping your dumbbells organized and off the floor. It was easy to put together, and is very sturdy. It comes with an allen wrench for assembly, however, as the instructions indicate, you do need a second tool - either an adjustable wrench or socket wrench. But in my opinion, it's a little too compact. There is not enough spacing between the dumbbell holders on each of the sides, so the dumbbells actually end up resting on top of each other. This means if you want to grab one from a lower position, you first have to remove the ones on top of it, which is kind of annoying. I suppose this depends on what type and size of dumbbells you have. I mostly have rubberized hex ones, up to 30 lbs. I was able to alleviate this problem somewhat by putting the largest dumbbells on the lower rack in the middle and strategically placing the others on the sides, but it didn't solve the issue completely. Unless you're putting this rack under something (which is unlikely), it probably could have been made a little taller to allow for better spacing. Because of its compact size, the other issue is that you have to be careful with how you hold the dumbbells when placing them back on the rack, so as to avoid pinching your fingers! But overall I'm happy with this!

This is a great weight rack. I needed something bigger as I had added more weights and my heavy ones just were on the floor and it annoyed me. This rack is great. Easy to put together. It took me about 10 minutes start to finish. I live on reviews so I wanted to give a big thumbs up to this one for others to go off of if you are a review reviewer before purchasing!

This is a very nice dumbbell rack and the price can't be beat. Unfortunately, mine arrived with a shallow dent on the upper left upright (which I didn't notice until it was assembled...don't assemble things late night) and the box it came in appeared to be a customer return. The strapping was absent (although the indentations on the box edges where it had been were visible) and the box was taped close with brown shipping tape. Returning it to Amazon was hassle free, as returns go. The only caveat concerning this rack is the limitation posed by the horizontal dumbbell holders. If you have York Legacy, neoprene covered, or vinyl covered dumbbells, you will not be able to use this rack to hold the lighter weight. Anything under 12 lbs. is iffy and any weight under 7 lbs. won't fit at all (although you could cut some masonite, or plywood to fill in the space between the horizontal bars). Beyond that, the rack is a good buy. The horizontal holders can be configured with the lips going up or down, so you have a bit of flexibility storage wise. For instance, on the top tier, I had the higher bar turned lip down, and the lower bar lip up. This allowed for a pair of Powerblock Sport 24 and a couple of medicine balls to sit on the top tier, and I believe there is enough clearance between the sets of horizontals to use the rack as a medicine ball holder. The rack is super sturdy and nice looking. I had no problems with the assembly. If you have hex dumbbells, this rack will be perfect for you needs.
