I purchased this in both white and the teal, and they are great. One I usually keep in my craft room, the other I take with me to shows as it's light. You can store a lot in them- I use one for all my straws and the other for my office tools. Rotates well, organizes everything and seems to be fairly sturdy. Also portable and small enough, if you vend at shows and need something to put your tools in so they don't get lost.

Be aware this thing is larger than any I have ever seen. That's not a bad thing as long as you have enough desk top space to allow for it, because you can easily get to paperclips, rubber bands, etc. in the perimeter compartments and stuff all the pens, pencils, highlighters and Sharpies you'll need in the center. I have both blue and black ink ballpoints, a large grip mechanical pencil, two colors of highlighters and three Sharpies in the center with room to spare. And it spins easily. Being a handyman, I built a three sided box that covers mine and put my desk lamp on top. Now I have all the features and zero lost desk space.

I purchased this item for an adult, and it was too small and lightweight for the purpose for which it was bought, so I returned it. I do think it is fashionable, and I think it will meet the needs of children, teens, and college age students better than an adult. It sits great with weight of items distributed similarly, but it sits a little precariously if you put in some adult stainless steel scissors or items like that.
