I tried this down comforter in order to have one that wasn't too hot for warmer months and it is just right. I am a warm sleeper and the "all season" Airluck comforter is much warmer even though it weighs less. The difference is breathability- the Maple & Stone is much more breathable and thus works better in warmer climates. I would rate the overall quality as very good although not quite as good as Airluck.

This is the perfect comforter! We tried an electric blanket that was too hot on “1”. Then we tried a soft warm comforter that was too warm followed y a blanket that was both warm enough. Our down comforter arrived and it is perfection. Honestly helps get a good nights sleep!

I am very impressed with this down comforter. Great quality at a great price. My cat loves this comforter, so much that he puked on it, twice. Gross, i know. I was upset but luckily my mother was the queen of dry clean and she taught me everything she knows. 1st step: stain treatment: blot off as much of the spill as you can then boil about 1/2 a cup of water, mix the hot water with laundry detergent and about a tbsp of color safe oxy. Scrub that mixture into the spot until you see it blur out, if it doesn’t blur let it it sit there for a while. 2nd step: it’s best to do this at a laundromat because you will want to use a big machine, if you have a front loading washer at home it might work but trust me, you will want to use a large machine. Wash the comforter in cold water with a small amount of detergent. Most gentle cycles do not give the best spin so i suggest a regular cycle as long as you are in a large front loading machine. The goal is to make sure you get all the soap out of the comforter. If you find any residue, give it another rinse. It might actually just be best to give it a second rinse cycle either way. 3rd step: dry. Place in dryer on NO HEAT for about two hours. If you want to speed it up you can start with low heat for about 30 minutes to an hour- depends how hot the machine gets, but eventually switch it to no heat. The drying process can take several hours because you want to make sure you get it fully dry with the least amount of heat. The main points: cold wash, minimal detergent, extra rinse, dry with little to no heat, but make sure it gets fully dry. You may notice a funny smell while it is wet, down tends to do that when wet, it will go away once fully dry. Doing this kept me from having to buy another comforter, twice. Hopefully it helps someone else.
