With drum hardware, you don't want anything to feel light or loose. This pedal feels very sturdy without being clunky or sticky. Very responsive! You'd have to pay a lot more to get much better.

I bought this for an inexpensive pedal to use on my new E-kit. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that I honestly feel it is the best low-cost pedal on the market. It is a wee bit noisy from looseness somewhere in the pedal but doesn't matter for me since I am not miking the kick.
