This is a solid add on for a manual tire changer. I have dismounted and mounted several car and truck tires using this exact attachment and it worked great. Works for tires 12 inch up to 20 inch. The biggest tire was a 305/50/20 pickup tire and it handled it with ease.

After initial frustration, I watched a couple of instruction videos. This duck bill adapter work easier than the original steel tire lever without scratching my aluminum wheels. Highly recommend.

This has been a great purchase. it makes changing tires on my manual changer much easier. i wish i would have bought it sooner. in fact i was planning on building one but once i considered my time and material this was an outstanding value.

A little sloppy fitting on my older HF tire changer. I used a gallon oil jugs plastic and made a shim for inside the pipe that slides over the center post. Its too big as is. The vertical pipe should have been 3 " longer (taller) for wider rims also. I just used a steel pipe coupling under it. It works though.

For the price i can't complain, if any of the welds don't hold up when I use it I'll just reweld them. And for the ones complaining about the adjustment screw knobs not being able to make a full turn, don't know about theirs but mine came with spring loaded knows, so work like a ratchet.

I finally used it to change 4 235/65R17 tires on my minivan. Used it with the Harbor Freight tire changer. Bought an aluminum cone on here separately, which is NEEDED. No problems with compatibility with those other tools. Worked as it should have, and the project was successful, but there were some build quality issues. It appears to be a good design, no mistakes, obviously aiming to do well at a low price point, and succeeding at that. Main specific problem was that the nut welded onto the cylindrical portion of the interface between square and round tubes was off-axis. Tilted by about 20 degrees from straight. Just wrong. It did hold, but I don't know how many more uses I will get out of this before it needs repair or replacement. There does not seem to be any warranty other than the Amazon 30-day thing; I bought this months in advance while I was gathering tools and waiting for the right time, so no warranty can help me now. Also, the paint is pretty weak / soft, and comes off very easily. So wherever a screw is tightened down, that paint will be gone. All that said, I cannot imagine doing this job without this or some similar tool.

It works great. You should plan on rewelding the two nuts that are used to make the adjustments. I broke both of them on a 205r45x17 tire. The weld had very little penetration. Once it was rewelded it was fine. The overall fit and finish is good and the design is wonderful. I tried to build the same thing a couple of years ago. I ended up with more than $50 in parts, lots of trial and error, and it never worked as well as this product.

I used this with the Pittsburgh Manual tire changer I purchased at HF. It fit great with this unit. I changed out the other two tires on a Honda fit sport and this made the job way easier and protects the rims way better than using only the tire bar that came with the original tire changer. I think this set up will pay for itself in no time. I’ve used the manual tire changer and the manual tire balancer now on changing out two sets of tires ( 08 Honda fit and 2022 subaru Impreza). I also needed to remove the tires to replace the tpms sensors in the 08 Fit. This addition to the setup made it way, way easier. I also think it is well made. Welds all looked great, well painted and I had no issues at all with using the product. I will update if something comes up. I would definitely watch a few videos on how to use this. Without the videos I would have probably used incorrectly. I also purchased a tire lube (Murphys) that has worked great. I did purchase the cone to center the tire, some of these are sold with it or you’ll see them in the diy videos).
