  • Saves your strength. Tool does all the work.
I changed super old tires on my antique tractor with R38 tires with the tires still mounted. I tried breaking the bead with smaller tire spoons/ratchet straps/etc. Nothing worked except for this tool. It took under 15 minutes to break the bead and it was as easy as turning a wrench.

  • Used to install tpms sensors
I've used this to change tpms sensors in my gmc acadia. Took me 1.5 hrs to do them myself. Wasn't sure how to use this bead tool and the videos made it look harder than it actually was. After the 1st tire, I figured it out and the hard part was airing the tire back up. Used lots of wd40. Only went down with the foot on this tool once in order to reach the sensor. After getting it started, tightend the clamp a little more, then down more, until the the sensor was accessible. Changed it out and removed the bead tool. Did have one issue. The little key that holds the nut onto the foot bolt came out and i had the tap it back in. A different kind of connection would be better. And i used a battery powered impact gun. Just went slowly. Good purchase! ... show more

  • Easier than I was expecting. Just need one to change tpms sensors
I was able to change four tpms sensors on a toyota matrix with this tool and a ratchet. The only problem I had is the manual said the hex nuts are 1-1/4" but mine are really 1-3/16". Still this thing saved me several hundred dollars and helped turn off the tire light that has been on for a year. One tip to using it is to take turns driving the bolts a couple revolutions at a time until the clamp fully seats and the whole device locks in and pulls itself true perpendicular. Once it seats then you can drive the foot all the way down. ... show more

  • Doesn’t work
Poor design. Will scratch the rim. Will slips off from the initial position. I wasn’t able to use it. End up to using the car weight and vertical bar in order to break the tire bead.

  • Tire Bead Breaker
Great product, well made, but it will not work on 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV rims. NOTE: When considering this bead breaker make sure that your rims have a inner edge where the claw hook can connect with. If your rim smooth this bead breaker will not work, as I did try and nothing worked. You'll need to get the one bead breaker that has a longer arm with rubber at the end of it to that will hold it tight to the rim. ... show more

  • Worked exactly as it should.
Used it to remove and replace 4 tire pressure sensors with Schrader valves. Broke the tire beads free great.

  • Claw put deep scratches in my alloy rims
Did what it was made to do. Also did some damage to my alloy rims. Claw should come with some kind of protective cover so it doesn't dig in to softer metals. Soap up the tire so the unit will slide down between the tire and the rim.

  • Watch the video
Does exactly what's needed. There's some instructions in the box but watching the video on the product page shows you exactly how to use it. I was able to change out all my tpms sensors today thanks to it. Easy learning curve.
